爾曰、全能之上帝、報惡人、罰強暴、子孫雖蕃、或遭戮、或乏食、或遇疫癘而死、嫠婦不泣、

毋拜跪、無崇奉、以我耶和華、即爾之上帝、斷不容以他上帝匹我、惡我者禍之、自父及子、至三四世、

蓋曰、因亞馬力手攻耶和華、故與之戰、歷世靡暨。

要之、兄弟凡真實善良、公義廉潔、可愛可稱、有德有譽者、皆當念茲、

亞達月十四日、書山之猶大人咸集、又殺三百人、不取其貨財。亞達月十三日、居各州之猶大人咸集、以相扞禦、殺敵七萬五千人、不取貨財、然後事平。

后曰、敵非他、哈曼是也。哈曼於王及后前、不勝股栗。

願無人矜憫之、不撫恤厥孤兮、必絕其嗣、名弗稱於後世兮、

蓋我與我民、為人所陷、殺戮殞亡、即鬻我為奴婢、我亦無詞、惟有損於王、敵雖輸金、無所裨補。

勿以惡報惡、眾所善者、則務之、

盡夷其族、靡有孑遺兮、

厥後王擢亞甲人、哈米達大子哈曼、使之位冠諸伯。
