You yourselves write a decree concerning the Jews, as you please, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s signet ring; for whatever is written in the king’s name and sealed with the king’s signet ring no one can revoke.”

现在你们可以照着你们的意思，奉王的名为犹大人写谕旨，用王的印戒盖上；因为奉王的名所写，用王的戒指盖上印的谕旨，是没有人可以废除的。”

你们就照着你们眼中看为好的，以王的名义给犹太人下旨，用王的印戒封印吧；因为以王的名义下旨、用王的印戒封印的文书是不能撤回的。”

你們就照著你們眼中看為好的，以王的名義給猶太人下旨，用王的印戒封印吧；因為以王的名義下旨、用王的印戒封印的文書是不能撤回的。」

今可隨意、託王名書詔、頒於猶大人、以王指環鈐之、蓋繕以王名、鈐以王指環之詔、莫能廢也、

爾曹書詔、惟所欲為、鈐以國璽、使猶大人自相扞衛則可、前詔已頒、國璽已鈐、不能改也。

爾曹為護衛猶大人、可隨己意、託我名書詔、以我印環印之、若前詔則不能收回、因有定例、凡詔書以王名、印以王印環者、不能收回、

Now write another decree in the king’s name in behalf of the Jews as seems best to you, and seal it with the king’s signet ring— for no document written in the king’s name and sealed with his ring can be revoked.”

Now write another order in my name. Do it for the benefit of the Jews. Do what seems best to you. Stamp the order with my royal mark. Nothing that is written in my name and stamped with my mark can ever be changed.”

But you may write as you please with regard to the Jews, in the name of the king, and seal it with the king’s ring, for an edict written in the name of the king and sealed with the king’s ring cannot be revoked.”

Now go ahead and send a message to the Jews in the king’s name, telling them whatever you want, and seal it with the king’s signet ring. But remember that whatever has already been written in the king’s name and sealed with his signet ring can never be revoked.”

Write in the king’s name whatever pleases you concerning the Jews, and seal it with the royal signet ring. A document written in the king’s name and sealed with the royal signet ring cannot be revoked.”

Now you write to the Jews as you see fit, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s signet ring; for a decree which is written in the name of the king and sealed with the king’s signet ring may not be revoked.”

Write ye also to the Jews, as it pleaseth you, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s ring; for the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, may no man reverse.

You may write in the king’s name whatever pleases you concerning the Jews, and seal it with the royal signet ring. A document written in the king’s name and sealed with the royal signet ring cannot be revoked.”

Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king’s name, and seal[ it] with the king’s ring: for the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, may no man reverse.

Now you write in the king’s name whatever in your opinion is appropriate concerning the Jews and seal it with the king’s signet ring. Any decree that is written in the king’s name and sealed with the king’s signet ring cannot be rescinded.

Write also to the Jews, as it pleases you, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s ring; for the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, may not be reversed by any man.”

If it pleases the king, let a royal decree go out from him, and let it be recorded in the laws of the Persians and the Medes, so that it will not be altered, that Vashti shall come no more before King Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal position to another who is better than she.

Then the king’s scribes were called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and a decree was written according to all that Haman commanded— to the king’s satraps, to the governors who were over each province, to the officials of all people, to every province according to its script, and to every people in their language. In the name of King Ahasuerus it was written, and sealed with the king’s signet ring.

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal:“ The Lord knows those who are His,” and,“ Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

and said,“ If it pleases the king, and if I have found favor in his sight and the thing seems right to the king and I am pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to revoke the letters devised by Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to annihilate the Jews who are in all the king’s provinces.

And she wrote letters in Ahab’s name, sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters to the elders and the nobles who were dwelling in the city with Naboth.

And he wrote in the name of King Ahasuerus, sealed it with the king’s signet ring, and sent letters by couriers on horseback, riding on royal horses bred from swift steeds.

And they went before the king, and spoke concerning the king’s decree:“ Have you not signed a decree that every man who petitions any god or man within thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions?” The king answered and said,“ The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.”So they answered and said before the king,“ That Daniel, who is one of the captives from Judah, does not show due regard for you, O king, or for the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.”And the king, when he heard these words, was greatly displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him; and he labored till the going down of the sun to deliver him.Then these men approached the king, and said to the king,“ Know, O king, that it is the law of the Medes and Persians that no decree or statute which the king establishes may be changed.”

Now, O king, establish the decree and sign the writing, so that it cannot be changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.”

Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath,that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.
