When he saw Queen Esther standing in the court, he was pleased with her and held out to her the gold scepter that was in his hand. So Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter.

He saw Queen Esther standing in the courtyard. He was pleased with her. So he reached out toward her the gold scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther approached him. She touched the tip of the scepter.

And when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, she won favor in his sight, and he held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter.

“王所有的臣仆和王各省的民族都知道：无论男女，如果不被召唤而进入内院去见王，那么给他的只有一条法令，就是被处死；除非王向他伸出金杖，他才得以存活；而我没有被召唤去见王已经有三十天了。”

王向以斯帖伸出金杖，以斯帖就起身，站在王的面前。

王的心在耶和华的手中，就像河渠的水：耶和华可以任意使它流转。

这年轻女子在希该眼中看为好，就在他面前蒙了恩慈；希该立刻把洁身的香品和她应得的食物分配给她，又把王宫里选出来的七个使女分配给她，让她和她的使女们搬进妃嫔宫里最好的地方。

那人说：“你的名字不要再叫雅各，而要叫以色列，因为你已经与神与人较力，并且得胜了。”

我爱耶和华，因为他垂听我的声音和我的恳求；

救他脱离一切患难，并且使他在埃及王法老面前蒙恩宠、有智慧。法老就委任约瑟做宰相，统管埃及和法老全家。

哥尼流注视着他，感到害怕，说：“主啊，有什么事呢？”天使说：“你的祷告和你的施舍，已经上达神的面前蒙记念了。
