末底改吩咐人去回覆以斯帖說：『你別自己心裏想你在王宮就比一切猶大人較能逃脫。

末底改托人回复以斯帖说：“你莫想在王宫里强过一切犹大人，得免这祸。

末底改使覆以斯帖曰、勿意爾居王宮、愈於猶大眾、必能得免、

木底改遣人對曰、猶大人若亡、爾居王宮、亦不得免。

末底改託人答以斯帖曰、勿以為因爾居王宮、必得保全、不至與諸猶大人偕亡、

he sent back this answer:“ Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape.

Then he sent back an answer. He said,“ You live in the king’s palace. But don’t think that just because you are there you will be the only Jew who will escape.

Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther,“ Do not think to yourself that in the king’s palace you will escape any more than all the other Jews.

Mordecai sent this reply to Esther:“ Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed.

Mordecai told the messenger to reply to Esther,“ Don’t think that you will escape the fate of all the Jews because you are in the king’s palace.

Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther,“ Do not imagine that you in the king’s palace can escape any more than all the other Jews.

And Mordecai told them to answer Esther:“ Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews.

Then Mordecai bade them return answer unto Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews.

Mordecai told the messenger to reply to Esther,“ Don’t think that you will escape the fate of all the Jews because you are in the king’s palace.

Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews.

he said to take back this answer to Esther:

Then Mordecai asked them to return this answer to Esther:“ Don’t think to yourself that you will escape in the king’s house any more than all the Jews.

你在患難的日子若懈怠，你的能力就難以應付。被拉到死地的、你要援救；東倒西歪而走向屠宰場的、你不可不攔阻。你若說：『啊，我不知道這事』，那麼、那衡量人心的、他豈不明白麼？那看管你性命的、他豈不知道麼？他豈不按各人所行的來報應各人麼？

因為他為了基督的工作、曾至於與死相近，冒着性命之險，以彌補你們在供奉我的事上所虧缺的。

惜愛自己性命的、必失掉性命；不惜愛自己性命在這世界上的、必保守性命歸永生。

他堅忍着罪人這樣地頂撞他，你們要跟他比比，免得你們心灰意冷。

於是耶穌對門徒說：『人若想要跟着我，就當棄絕自己，拿起他的十字架來跟從我。因為凡想要救自己性命的，必失掉真性命；凡為我失掉自己性命的，必得着真性命。
