But Mordecai found out about the plot and told Queen Esther, who in turn reported it to the king, giving credit to Mordecai.

So Mordecai found out about it and told Queen Esther. Then she reported it to the king. She told him that Mordecai had uncovered the plans against him.

And this came to the knowledge of Mordecai, and he told it to Queen Esther, and Esther told the king in the name of Mordecai.

But Mordecai heard about the plot and gave the information to Queen Esther. She then told the king about it and gave Mordecai credit for the report.

When Mordecai learned of the plot, he reported it to Queen Esther, and she told the king on Mordecai’s behalf.

But the plot became known to Mordecai and he informed Queen Esther, and Esther told the king in Mordecai’s name.

So the matter became known to Mordecai, who told Queen Esther, and Esther informed the king in Mordecai’s name.

And the thing became known to Mordecai, who showed it unto Esther the queen; and Esther told the king thereof in Mordecai’s name.

那一夜王睡不着覺，就吩咐人拿《備忘錄》來；便有人在王面前一直地唸。唸到一處寫着說：王的太監中有兩個守門檻的、辟探和提列、想法子要下手害亞哈隨魯王：關於這事末底改有所報告。

極深哪！上帝智慧與知識之豐富啊！他的判斷、多麼不能探索啊！他的道路、多麼追蹤不盡啊！

各人不要單顧自己的事，各人也要顧到別人的事。

就是在你心思中你都不可咒詛君王；在你臥房裏你也不可咒詛富戶；因為空中的飛鳥能把這聲音帶去；有翅膀的會傳說話語。

到了天亮，猶太人訂了一個密約，起了誓，非等到殺死保羅、不喫也不喝。訂這陰謀的有四十多人。這些人去見祭司長和長老，說：『我們曾經起了誓，非等到殺死保羅，甚麼也不喫。所以你們那方面、連同議院、如今要知會千夫長，叫他將保羅帶下來到你們這裏，好像要更詳確而察考他、的樣子；我們呢、在他還未走近之先、早已準備好了可以把他殺掉。』保羅的外甥聽見了這埋伏的事，就來，進了營樓，報告保羅。保羅便請了一個百夫長來，說：『請把這個壯年人帶去見千夫長；他有事要報告他。』於是百夫長就拉着那人，帶去見千夫長說：『囚犯保羅請我到他那裏，求把這個青年人帶來見千夫長，他有事要告訴千夫長。』千夫長就拉着那人的手，退到一邊，私下查問說：『你有甚麼事要報告我？』他說：『猶太人已經約定，要求千夫長明天將保羅帶下去到議院，好像要稍微更詳確地查問他、的樣子。所以請不要順着他們；因為他們中間有四十多人正在伺伏等着他；這些人曾經起了誓，非等到殺掉保羅、不喫也不喝；如今他們已準備好了，只期望着你應允。』於是千夫長把那青年人打發走了，囑咐說：『不要對甚麼人洩漏、說你把這些事稟報了我。』
