“王的一切臣仆和各省的人民都知道有一个定例：若不蒙召，擅入内院见王的，无论男女必被治死；除非王向他伸出金杖，不得存活。现在我没有蒙召进去见王已经三十日了。”

因我仆人雅各，我所拣选以色列的缘故，我就提名召你；你虽不认识我，我也加给你名号。

那少年人做这事并不迟延，因为他喜爱雅各的女儿；他在他父亲家中也是人最尊重的。

后来你若不喜悦她，就要由她随意出去，决不可为钱卖她，也不可当婢女待她，因为你玷污了她。”

雅各啊，创造你的耶和华，以色列啊，造成你的那位，现在如此说：“你不要害怕！因为我救赎了你。我曾提你的名召你，你是属我的。
