我不准女人教导或管辖男人，她们应当保持安静。

这样，她们就能教导年轻的妇女爱丈夫、爱儿女、自制、贞洁，持家、和善、顺服丈夫，免得上帝的道被人毁谤。

但在教会中我宁可用悟性说五句教导人的话，胜过说万句别人不懂的方言。弟兄姊妹，你们的思想不要像小孩子，要长大成熟，但在罪恶的事上要像婴孩。

尼布甲尼撒王传谕天下各族、各邦、各语种的人：“愿你们大享平安！

现在我下令，不论何民、何邦、何族，若毁谤沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的上帝，必被碎尸万段，他们的家必沦为废墟，因为没有别的神明能这样施行拯救。”
