照着他在基督里预先定下的美意，让我们明白了他旨意的奥秘，

都是照他自己所預定的美意，叫我們知道他旨意的奧祕，

照自己在基督裏所立定的美意，使我們知道他旨意的奧祕，

照自己在基督裏所立定的美意，使我們知道他旨意的奧祕，

照著祂在基督裡所定的美好計劃叫我們知道祂旨意的奧祕，

他照著自己在基督裡預先安排的美意，使我們知道他旨意的奧祕，

能知道他旨意之奧祕，照他所喜悅的美意、他在基督裏所定的美意、

照著他在基督裡預先定下的美意，讓我們明白了他旨意的奧祕，

示我以厥旨之奧、循其善意、乃於彼中所定、

復示我奧旨、行其所立之善意、

且示我以其旨之奧妙、循其所定之美意、

使吾人得領略其意旨之玄奧。蓋天主夙已從心所欲、

he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ,

he showed us the mystery of his plan. It was in keeping with what he wanted to do. It was what he had planned through Christ.

God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ— which is to fulfill his own good plan.

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

He did this when he revealed to us the secret of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ,

making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him

the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to His saints.God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.We proclaim Him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.

Now to Him who has power to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation about Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept silent for long agesbut now revealed and made known through the prophetic Scriptures, according to the command of the eternal God to advance the obedience of faith among all nations—to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ— to Him be the glory forever! Amen.

The mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have briefly written above.By reading this you are able to understand my insight about the mystery of the Messiah.This was not made known to people in other generations as it is now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit:The Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and partners of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.I was made a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace that was given to me by the working of His power.This grace was given to me— the least of all the saints— to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of the Messiah,and to shed light for all about the administration of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things.

We have also received an inheritance in Him, predestined according to the purpose of the One who works out everything in agreement with the decision of His will,

He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

This is according to His eternal purpose accomplished in the Messiah, Jesus our Lord.

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.

And most certainly, the mystery of godliness is great: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.I pray that the perception of your mind may be enlightened so you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints,

For I did not receive it from a human source and I was not taught it, but it came by a revelation from Jesus Christ.

to reveal His Son in me, so that I could preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone.

Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.

When the Gentiles heard this, they rejoiced and glorified the message of the Lord, and all who had been appointed to eternal life believed.

Who is there who speaks and it happens, unless the Lord has ordained it?Do not both adversity and good come from the mouth of the Most High?

He answered them,“ Because the secrets of the kingdom of heaven have been given for you to know, but it has not been given to them.

Though He was delivered up according to God’s determined plan and foreknowledge, you used lawless people to nail Him to a cross and kill Him.

to do whatever Your hand and Your plan had predestined to take place.

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart from generation to generation.

I declare the end from the beginning, and from long ago what is not yet done, saying: My plan will take place, and I will do all My will.I call a bird of prey from the east, a man for My purpose from a far country. Yes, I have spoken; so I will also bring it about. I have planned it; I will also do it.

The Lord of Hosts has sworn: As I have purposed, so it will be; as I have planned it, so it will happen.I will break Assyria in My land; I will tread him down on My mountain. Then his yoke will be taken from them, and his burden will be removed from their shoulders.This is the plan prepared for the whole earth, and this is the hand stretched out against all the nations.The Lord of Hosts Himself has planned it; therefore, who can stand in its way? It is His hand that is outstretched, so who can turn it back?

But He is unchangeable; who can oppose Him? He does what He desires.He will certainly accomplish what He has decreed for me, and He has many more things like these in mind.

Why do you bring a case against Me? All of you have rebelled against Me. This is the Lord’s declaration.
