He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.For everything was created by Him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities— all things have been created through Him and for Him.

Now that He has gone into heaven, He is at God’s right hand with angels, authorities, and powers subject to Him.

So He became higher in rank than the angels, just as the name He inherited is superior to theirs.

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people, and we must be saved by it.”

He disarmed the rulers and authorities and disgraced them publicly; He triumphed over them by Him.

The Devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.Then I saw a great white throne and One seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them.I also saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their works by what was written in the books.Then the sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead; all were judged according to their works.Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.And anyone not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

This is so God’s multi-faceted wisdom may now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavens.

Then Jesus came near and said to them,“ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.

The kingdom, dominion, and greatness of the kingdoms under all of heaven will be given to the people, the holy ones of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will serve and obey Him.’

For He has not subjected to angels the world to come that we are talking about.

For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers,height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!

His eyes were like a fiery flame, and many crowns were on His head. He had a name written that no one knows except Himself.He wore a robe stained with blood, and His name is the Word of God.

“ When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on the left.Then the King will say to those on His right,‘ Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you took care of Me; I was in prison and you visited Me.’

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens— Jesus the Son of God— let us hold fast to the confession.

“ I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted to the Son to have life in Himself.And He has granted Him the right to pass judgment, because He is the Son of Man.Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voiceand come out— those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment.

Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the one to come.
