The Spirit marks us as God’s own. We can now be sure that someday we will receive all that God has promised. That will happen after God sets all his people completely free. All these things will bring praise to his glory.

Remember Your congregation, which You purchased long ago and redeemed as the tribe for Your own possession. Remember Mount Zion where You dwell.

He brought them to His holy land, to the mountain His right hand acquired.

But when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near!”

Watch! Hanamel, the son of your uncle Shallum, is coming to you to say,‘ Buy my field in Anathoth for yourself, for you own the right of redemption to buy it.’“ Then my cousin Hanamel came to the guard’s courtyard as the Lord had said and urged me,‘ Please buy my field in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, for you own the right of inheritance and redemption. Buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the word of the Lord.

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock that the Holy Spirit has appointed you to as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood.
