Whoever obeys his command will come to no harm, and the wise heart will know the proper time and procedure.

I[ counsel thee] to keep the king’s commandment, and[ that] in regard of the oath of God.

Wisdom[ is] before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool[ are] in the ends of the earth.

The wise man’s eyes[ are] in his head; but the fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all.

But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.

[ Ye] hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

Ephraim[ is] oppressed[ and] broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.

A wise man’s heart[ is] at his right hand; but a fool’s heart at his left.

Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty.And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard[ it], do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
