現今存在的早已起了名，大家都知道人是甚麼，他並不能同那比他力大的相爭呀。

已經有的，早就起了名；人是怎樣，誰都知道，他不能與比自己強大的爭辯。

既有之人、早命以名、知其為人、不能與強於己者爭、

粵稽古昔、始摶土以為人、由此得名、以迄於今、若此焉得與全能者辯。

凡生於世者、名已先定、皆知是人耳、或作世人如何早已命定不能與力大於己者爭、

Whatever exists has already been named, and what humanity is has been known; no one can contend with someone who is stronger.

God has already planned what now exists. He has already decided what a human being is. No one can argue with someone who is stronger.

Whatever has come to be has already been named, and it is known what man is, and that he is not able to dispute with one stronger than he.

Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So there’s no use arguing with God about your destiny.

Whatever exists was given its name long ago, and it is known what mankind is. But he is not able to contend with the one stronger than he.

祂并非我的同类，我无法与祂争辩，一起对簿公堂。

“跟造物主争辩的人有祸了！他不过是世上瓦器中的一件。陶泥怎能对陶匠说，‘你在做什么’？受造之物怎能说，‘造我的没手艺’？对父亲说‘你生的是什么’或对母亲说‘你产的是什么’的人有祸了！”

“强辩者岂可与全能者争论？与上帝辩驳的人请作出答复。”

现在的事并不是新事，未来的事也早已发生过。上帝使过去的事再次出现。

人若想与祂辩驳，千次也不能胜一次。祂充满智慧，能力无比，谁能抗拒祂还可平安无恙？

“人为妇人所生，一生短暂，充满患难。他如花盛开，转眼凋谢；如影消逝，无法久留。你还察看这样的世人吗？还要把我召来受审吗？谁能使污秽产生洁净呢？没有人能。

我曾说你们都是神，都是至高者的儿子，但你们要跟世人一样死去，像人间的王侯一样灭亡。”

人生不过是幻影，劳碌奔波却一场空，积蓄财富却不知谁来享用。

耶和华上帝又对亚当说：“因为你听从妻子的话，吃了我吩咐你不可吃的果子，地必因你而受咒诅。你必终生艰辛劳苦，才能吃到地里出产的食物。地必给你长出荆棘和蒺藜，你要吃田间长出来的菜蔬。你必汗流满面，才有饭吃，一直到你归回尘土。因为你是尘土造的，也必归回尘土。”

这样，你肯定会对我说：“为什么上帝还指责人呢？谁能抗拒祂的旨意呢？”你这个人啊！你是谁啊？竟敢顶撞上帝！受造之物怎能对造物主说：“你为什么把我造成这样？”

你为何向祂抱怨，说祂不理会世人的话？

看啊，我必在瞬间把以东人赶离家园，如约旦河边丛林中跳出的狮子赶散草场的羊群。我要派我拣选的人统治这地方。谁能与我相比？谁能与我较量？哪位首领能抵挡我？”

世人的年日如同草芥，如野地茂盛的花，

以往发生的事，将来还会发生；先前做过的事，将来也必再做。日光之下，根本没有新事。人可以指着哪件事说：“看啊，这是新事”？所谓的新事在我们以前早就有了。过去的事无人记得，将来的事后人也不记得。

耶和华上帝呼唤那人说：“你在哪里？”
