并且我以为那未曾生的，就是未见过日光之下恶事的，比这两等人更强。

但那尚未出生，就是未曾见过日光之下所发生之恶事的，比这两种人更幸福。

不过，比以上两种人更幸运的是那从未出生的人，他们从未见过日光之下各样的恶行。

那还没生下来的，就是还没看过日光之下所行的恶事的，比这两种人更有福。

但那还没有出生的人，比这两者更好，因他没有见过在日光之下所行的恶事。

並且我以為那未曾生的，就是未見過日光之下惡事的，比這兩等人更強。

但那尚未出生，就是未曾見過日光之下所發生之惡事的，比這兩種人更幸福。

我並且以為、那未曾生的、就是那未曾經驗過日光之下所發生的壞事的、比這兩種人還好。

但那還沒有出生的人，比這兩者更好，因他沒有見過在日光之下所行的惡事。

且以未生之人、未睹日下所作之惡者、較斯二者為尤愈也、○

又思未生於斯世者、未見斯人之穢行、較生而復死者、尤為幸甚。

較此二者、未生於世、未見日下所作之惡事者更為幸、○

But better than both is the one who has never been born, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun.

But someone who hasn’t been born yet is better off than the dead or the living. That’s because that person hasn’t seen the evil things that are done on earth.

But better than both is he who has not yet been and has not seen the evil deeds that are done under the sun.

But most fortunate of all are those who are not yet born. For they have not seen all the evil that is done under the sun.

But better than either of them is the one who has not yet existed, who has not seen the evil activity that is done under the sun.

But better off than both of them is the one who has never existed, who has never seen the evil activity that is done under the sun.

Yet, better than both is he who has never existed, Who has not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

yea, better than them both did I esteem him that hath not yet been, who hath not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

But better than either of them is the one who has not yet existed, who has not seen the evil activity that is done under the sun.

Yea, better[ is he] than both they, which hath not yet been, who hath not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

But better than both is the one who has not been born and has not seen the evil things that are done on earth.

Yes, better than them both is him who has not yet been, who has not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

因为日子要到，人必说：‘不生育的，和未曾怀胎的，未曾乳养婴孩的，有福了！’

人若生一百个儿子，活许多岁数，以致他的年日甚多，心里却不得满享福乐，又不得埋葬；据我说，那不到期而落的胎比他倒好。因为虚虚而来，暗暗而去，名字被黑暗遮蔽，并且没有见过天日，也毫无知觉；这胎，比那人倒享安息。

当那些日子，怀孕的和奶孩子的有祸了。

因没有把怀我胎的门关闭，也没有将患难对我的眼隐藏。“我为何不出母胎而死？为何不出母腹绝气？为何有膝接收我？为何有奶哺养我？不然，我就早已躺卧安睡，和地上为自己重造荒邱的君王、谋士，或与有金子、将银子装满了房屋的王子一同安息；或像隐而未现、不到期而落的胎，归于无有，如同未见光的婴孩。

他们寻见坟墓就快乐，极其欢喜。

“你为何使我出母胎呢？不如我当时气绝，无人得见我；这样，就如没有我一般，一出母胎就被送入坟墓。

我见日光之下所做的一切事，都是虚空，都是捕风。

我说：“但愿我有翅膀像鸽子，我就飞去，得享安息。我必远游，宿在旷野。细拉我必速速逃到避所，脱离狂风暴雨。”主啊，求你吞灭他们，变乱他们的舌头！因为我在城中见了强暴争竞的事。他们在城墙上昼夜绕行；在城内也有罪孽和奸恶。邪恶在其中；欺压和诡诈不离街市。

惟愿我在旷野有行路人住宿之处，使我可以离开我的民出去；因他们都是行奸淫的，是行诡诈的一党。他们弯起舌头像弓一样，为要说谎话。他们在国中增长势力，不是为行诚实，乃是恶上加恶，并不认识我。这是耶和华说的。

我所以恨恶生命；因为在日光之下所行的事我都以为烦恼，都是虚空，都是捕风。

因他在我未出胎的时候不杀我，使我母亲成了我的坟墓，胎就时常重大。我为何出胎见劳碌愁苦，使我的年日因羞愧消灭呢？
