According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay, Fury to His adversaries, Recompense to His enemies; The coastlands He will fully repay.So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

It is good that you grasp this, And also not remove your hand from the other; For he who fears God will escape them all.

Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides.They continue this day according to Your ordinances, For all are Your servants.

Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying,‘ My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’

And now I will tell you the truth: Behold, three more kings will arise in Persia, and the fourth shall be far richer than them all; by his strength, through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece.Then a mighty king shall arise, who shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.And when he has arisen, his kingdom shall be broken up and divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not among his posterity nor according to his dominion with which he ruled; for his kingdom shall be uprooted, even for others besides these.

Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Lord has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say,“ I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks.”For he says:“ By the strength of my hand I have done it, And by my wisdom, for I am prudent; Also I have removed the boundaries of the people, And have robbed their treasuries; So I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man.My hand has found like a nest the riches of the people, And as one gathers eggs that are left, I have gathered all the earth; And there was no one who moved his wing, Nor opened his mouth with even a peep.”Shall the ax boast itself against him who chops with it? Or shall the saw exalt itself against him who saws with it? As if a rod could wield itself against those who lift it up, Or as if a staff could lift up, as if it were not wood!

All men shall fear, And shall declare the work of God; For they shall wisely consider His doing.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; With the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.

For in the multitude of dreams and many words there is also vanity. But fear God.

to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.

There is no wisdom or understanding Or counsel against the Lord.

Therefore the male goat grew very great; but when he became strong, the large horn was broken, and in place of it four notable ones came up toward the four winds of heaven.

Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.

There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel— that will stand.

Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;

according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.”
