因為我們爭戰的兵器本不是屬血氣的，而是憑着上帝的能力，能夠攻破堅固的營壘。我們攻破各樣的計謀，

耶和華是我的牧者，我必不致缺乏。

你要側耳聽智慧人的言語，留心領會我的知識。

我的話豈不像火，又像能打碎磐石的大錘嗎？這是耶和華說的。

上帝的道是活潑的，是有功效的，比一切兩刃的劍更鋒利，甚至魂與靈、骨節與骨髓，都能刺入、剖開，連心中的思念和主意都能辨明。

耶穌回答，對他說：「你是以色列人的老師，還不明白這些事嗎？

約翰看見許多法利賽人和撒都該人也來受洗，就對他們說：「毒蛇的孽種啊，誰指示你們逃避那將要來的憤怒呢？

明白箴言和譬喻，懂得智慧人的言詞和謎語。

到了大牧人顯現的時候，你們必得到那永不衰殘、榮耀的冠冕。

但他的弓仍舊堅硬，他的手臂靈活敏捷，這是因雅各的大能者的手，從那裏，他是以色列的牧者，以色列的磐石。

但願賜平安的上帝，就是那憑永約之血，把羣羊的大牧人－我們主耶穌從死人中領出來的上帝，

現在耶和華－我們的上帝暫且向我們施恩，為我們留下一些殘存之民，使我們如釘子釘在他的聖所，讓我們的上帝光照我們的眼目，使我們在受轄制之中稍微復興。
