Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.

You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.

You young people, be happy while you are still young. Let your heart be joyful while you are still strong. Do what your heart tells you to do. Go after what your eyes look at. But I want you to know that God will judge you for everything you do.

Young people, it’s wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do.

I said in my heart, God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a time for every matter and for every work.

For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.

It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.For all that is in the world— the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life— is not from the Father but is from the world.

the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose.

Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say,“ I have no pleasure in them”;

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,

if my step has turned aside from the way and my heart has gone after my eyes, and if any spot has stuck to my hands,

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.

Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God;

And whatever my eyes desired I did not keep from them. I kept my heart from no pleasure, for my heart found pleasure in all my toil, and this was my reward for all my toil.

But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.He will render to each one according to his works:to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek,but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek.For God shows no partiality.

It happened, late one afternoon, when David arose from his couch and was walking on the roof of the king’s house, that he saw from the roof a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful.And David sent and inquired about the woman. And one said,“ Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?”So David sent messengers and took her, and she came to him, and he lay with her.( Now she had been purifying herself from her uncleanness.) Then she returned to her house.

He calls to the heavens above and to the earth, that he may judge his people:“ Gather to me my faithful ones, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice!”The heavens declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge! Selah

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels.

But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

And the angel of the Lord said to him,“ Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to oppose you because your way is perverse before me.

“ As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we will not listen to you.But we will do everything that we have vowed, make offerings to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, as we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our officials, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and prospered, and saw no disaster.

And as he reasoned about righteousness and self-control and the coming judgment, Felix was alarmed and said,“ Go away for the present. When I get an opportunity I will summon you.”

one who, when he hears the words of this sworn covenant, blesses himself in his heart, saying,‘ I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.’ This will lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike.

And as soon as I have gone from you, the Spirit of the Lord will carry you I know not where. And so, when I come and tell Ahab and he cannot find you, he will kill me, although I your servant have feared the Lord from my youth.

And when he had come to the king, the king said to him,“ Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall we refrain?” And he answered him,“ Go up and triumph; the Lord will give it into the hand of the king.”

And the younger of them said to his father,‘ Father, give me the share of property that is coming to me.’ And he divided his property between them.Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living.

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

They say continually to those who despise the word of the Lord,‘ It shall be well with you’; and to everyone who stubbornly follows his own heart, they say,‘ No disaster shall come upon you.’”

And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after.

in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience—among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

But they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and the stubbornness of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward.

And at noon Elijah mocked them, saying,“ Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is musing, or he is relieving himself, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened.”

In past generations he allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways.

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”

For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry.With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you;

Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

when I saw among the spoil a beautiful cloak from Shinar, and 200 shekels of silver, and a bar of gold weighing 50 shekels, then I coveted them and took them. And see, they are hidden in the earth inside my tent, with the silver underneath.”
