風之由來、孕婦之胎、其骨如何而長、爾既不知、則成萬事之上帝、其所經營、爾亦不知也、

風風或作生氣之路、爾所不知、婦有孕、骨骸如何成於胎、婦有孕骨骸如何成於胎或作胎在腹中如何成形爾所不知、如此、天主創造萬物、創造萬物或作成就萬事其經綸爾亦所不知、

As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.

You don’t know the path the wind takes. You don’t know how a baby is made inside its mother. So you can’t understand how God works either. He made everything.

As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.

Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.

Just as you don’t know the path of the wind, or how bones develop in the womb of a pregnant woman, so also you don’t know the work of God who makes everything.

耶和華兮、爾之經綸、何其眾著、爾以智慧、創造萬有、爾之恩膏、溥及寰宇兮、

道甚玄遠、誰能測度。

上帝所為、大不可測、異不勝數。

九泉之下、幽冥之眾、俱畏上帝。主之前、陰司昭著、暗府不蔽、主陳北極於清虛、懸大地於無物。水在雲中、相涵不漏。主之位、密雲遮護、圓包環海、以示幽顯。主一叱咤、四維震動、施其大能、海波洶湧、行其大智、洪濤恬靜、鼓其氣、穹蒼朗霽、展其力、龍宿羅布。此其小者也、我所聞者止此、若夫雷霆轟烈、又孰能測之耶。

上帝所為、億兆見之、遠近仰之、爾當頌美焉。

我肇基大地之時、汝安在、知則告我。誰為量度、誰為準繩、何地築址基、何人立四隅、當時星使欣咏、天神謳歌、海水初生、孰堤防之、若閉其門、其蔽以密雲、遮以靉靆、定其界址、設其門楗、語之曰、至此則可、不得越其防、爾之洪濤澎湃、至此而止者、非我乎。爾誕生以來、亦曾命旭日升、黎明至乎。地之四極、輝光既布、宵小匿跡、宇宙一新、如印印泥、如人衣衣、作惡者流、不以光為光、光天之下、不敢作為。海之泉源、爾豈能窮、淵之深處、爾豈能及。爾豈能啟陰司之戶、窺暗府之門、大地之長廣、爾豈能測、如知之、試言之。光在何方、暗在何所、爾豈識其途、能導人造其境乎。山羊之生、爾知其時乎、麀鹿產子、爾能顧之乎。爾能稽其月數、知其產期乎、卷曲其身、劬勞生子、其子漸長、適野不歸。誰使野驢不受縶維、居曠野、處鹵地、邑眾之譁不畏、驅者之聲不顧、遊原隰、食草萊者、非我乎。兕能為爾服役、安處爾廄乎、爾可繫之以索、耕耘平隰乎、其力雖大、豈可恃之、服勞隴畝、望其運穀至場圃乎、鴕鳥數展其翼、羽翮詎同於鶴、遺卵於土、暴卵於沙、人踐之、獸躪之、亦不顧焉、生之雖不易、遺之亦弗惜、若非己有、蓋我不賦以靈慧心、故其性若是、然彼高展其身、雖乘馬逐之、亦不畏。馬力矯健、豈爾所賜、馬鬣奮揚、豈爾所予、其躍若蝗、咆哮可畏、豈爾所使乎。騰踔平原、自負有力、其往也、遇兵革、蹈白刃、無所畏懼、矢弢之聲、戈矛之鳴、盈於其耳。彼則暴躁踴躍、蹄所未至、氣已先吞、角鳴則進、角響則嘶、武士號呼、兵卒戰鬥、雖遠亦聞。雀鷹既飛、展翮往南、豈爾所使。大鷹翱翔、營巢高嶺、豈爾所命、彼居巉巖以棲身、在彼瞻望以覓食、其雛噏血、尸所在、大鷹集焉。

我之上帝耶和華兮、爾之異跡、佑我甚眾、述之惟艱、言之不可勝數兮。

我之腎腸、爾所締造、我在母懷、爾所甄陶兮、爾造我躬、神妙莫測、爾之經綸、無不奇異、是我所知、頌美爾兮、我在母胎、受造甚巧、骨骸潛長、皆爾所知兮、我猶為胚、爾目見之、我尚未生、凡百之事、咸爾所定、錄之於策兮、

全能之主、妙不可測、巨能至義、一秉大公、待人無偏、
