This[ is] also vanity and vexation of spirit.

He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this[ is] also vanity.When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good[ is there] to the owners thereof, saving the beholding[ of them] with their eyes?

For[ God] giveth to a man that[ is] good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to[ him that is] good before God. This also[ is] vanity and vexation of spirit.

Blessed[ are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.And not only[ they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption,[ to wit], the redemption of our body.

Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all[ was] vanity and vexation of spirit, and[ there was] no profit under the sun.

That which is far off, and exceeding deep, who can find it out?I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason[ of things], and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness[ and] madness:And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart[ is] snares and nets,[ and] her hands[ as] bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.

My soul shall be satisfied as[ with] marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise[ thee] with joyful lips:
