耶和华你的神把这些国的民从你面前驱逐出去以后，你心里不要说：‘耶和华把我领进来取得这地，是因着我的义。’其实耶和华从你面前把这些国的民赶出去，是因着他们的恶。

“耶和华你的神将这些国民从你面前撵出以后，你心里不可说：‘耶和华将我领进来得这地是因我的义。’其实，耶和华将他们从你面前赶出去是因他们的恶。

“耶和华—你的上帝将他们从你面前赶出以后，你心里不可说：‘耶和华领我得这地是因我的义。’其实，耶和华将这些国家从你面前赶出去是因他们的恶。

“耶和华—你的神将他们从你面前赶出以后，你心里不可说：‘耶和华领我得这地是因我的义。’其实，耶和华将这些国家从你面前赶出去是因他们的恶。

“你们的上帝耶和华赶走他们以后，你们不要以为耶和华带领你们占领那片土地是因为你们公义，其实是因为那里的民族邪恶，耶和华才将他们从你们面前赶走。

「耶和華－你的神將這些國民從你面前攆出以後，你心裏不可說：『耶和華將我領進來得這地是因我的義。』其實，耶和華將他們從你面前趕出去是因他們的惡。

「你們的上帝耶和華趕走他們以後，你們不要以為耶和華帶領你們佔領那片土地是因為你們公義，其實是因為那裡的民族邪惡，耶和華才將他們從你們面前趕走。

『永恆主你的上帝把這些國的人從你面前攆出以後、你心裏不可說：「永恆主將我領進來、取得這地、是因我的美德」；其實乃是因這些國的人的惡、永恆主才把他們從你面前趕出去呢。

爾上帝耶和華既驅逐之、爾勿意謂因我有義、故耶和華導我入據斯土、實因斯族之惡、而驅逐之、

既驅之後、爾勿意謂我儕有義、故耶和華使得斯土、實因斯民行惡、故耶和華驅於爾前。

主爾之天主、既逐之於爾前、爾勿意謂主導我得斯地乃因我善、實因斯民之惡、主逐之於爾前、

After the Lord your God has driven them out before you, do not say to yourself,“ The Lord has brought me here to take possession of this land because of my righteousness.” No, it is on account of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is going to drive them out before you.

The Lord your God will drive them out to make room for you. When he does, don’t say to yourself,“ The Lord has done it because I am godly. That’s why he brought me here to take over this land.” That isn’t true. The Lord is going to drive out those nations to make room for you because they are very evil.

“ Do not say in your heart, after the Lord your God has thrust them out before you,‘ It is because of my righteousness that the Lord has brought me in to possess this land,’ whereas it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out before you.

“ After the Lord your God has done this for you, don’t say in your hearts,‘ The Lord has given us this land because we are such good people!’ No, it is because of the wickedness of the other nations that he is pushing them out of your way.

When the LORD your God drives them out before you, do not say to yourself,‘ The LORD brought me in to take possession of this land because of my righteousness.’ Instead, the LORD will drive out these nations before you because of their wickedness.

“ Do not say in your heart when the Lord your God has driven them away from you,‘ Because of my righteousness the Lord has brought me in to take possession of this land.’ Rather, it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is dispossessing them before you.

“ Do not think in your heart, after the Lord your God has cast them out before you, saying,‘ Because of my righteousness the Lord has brought me in to possess this land’; but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out from before you.

Speak not thou in thy heart, after that Jehovah thy God hath thrust them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness Jehovah hath brought me in to possess this land; whereas for the wickedness of these nations Jehovah doth drive them out from before thee.

When the Lord your God drives them out before you, do not say to yourself,‘ The Lord brought me in to take possession of this land because of my righteousness.’ Instead, the Lord will drive out these nations before you because of their wickedness.

Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.

Do not think to yourself after the LORD your God has driven them out before you,“ Because of my own righteousness the LORD has brought me here to possess this land.” It is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out ahead of you.

Don’t say in your heart, after Yahweh your God has thrust them out from before you,“ For my righteousness Yahweh has brought me in to possess this land;” because Yahweh drives them out before you because of the wickedness of these nations.

恐怕你心里说：‘这财富是我的力量，是我手的能力使我得着的。’

“你到了耶和华你的神要赐给你的那地的时候，那些外族人可厌可恶的事，你不可学习去行。在你中间不可有人把自己的儿女献作火祭（“把自己的儿女献作火祭”直译是“使自己的儿女经过进入火中”），也不可有占卜的、算命的、用法术的、行邪术的、念咒的、问鬼的、行巫术的、过阴的。因为行这些事的，都是耶和华厌恶的；就是因为这些可厌可恶的事的缘故，耶和华你的神才把他们从你的面前赶走。你要在耶和华你的神面前作完全人。“因为你要赶走的那些民族，都听从算命的和占卜的；至于你，耶和华你的神却不容许你这样行。

“你们不可让这些事的任何一件玷污自己，因为我将要从你们面前赶出去的各族，就是被这些事玷污了自己。连地也被玷污，所以我追讨那地的罪孽，那地就把居民吐出去。所以，你们要谨守我的律例和典章；这一切可憎的事，无论是本地人或是在你们中间寄居的外人，一件都不可作（因为在你们以前住在那地的人，行了这一切可憎的事，就玷污了自己）；免得你们玷污那地，那地就把你们吐出去，像吐出了在你们以前的各民族一样。无论什么人，行了一件这些可憎的事，必从自己的族人中被剪除。所以你们要谨守我的吩咐，免得你们行那些可憎的风俗，就是你们以前的人所行的，玷污了自己。我是耶和华你们的神。”

耶和华喜爱你们，拣选你们，并不是因为你们的人数比别的民族多，其实你们的人数在万族中是最少的；而是因为耶和华对你们的爱，又因为他遵守他向你们的列祖所起的誓，他才用大能的手把你们领出来，把你们从为奴之家，从埃及王法老的手里拯救出来。

你不可向耶和华你的神这样行，因为耶和华恨恶的一切可厌恶的事，他们都向他们的神行了，甚至把自己的儿女用火焚烧，献给他们的神。

你进去取得他们的地，并不是因着你的义，也不是因着你心里的正直，而是因着这些国的民的恶，耶和华你的神才把他们从你面前赶出去，为要实践他向你的列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各，起誓应许的话。

我虽然问心无愧，却不能因此自以为义，因为判断我的是主。

既然是靠着恩典，就不再是由于行为了；不然的话，恩典就不再是恩典了。

我们从前也是无知、不顺服、受了迷惑、被各种私欲和逸乐所奴役，生活在恶毒和嫉妒之中，是可憎可恶的，并且互相仇视。然而，到了神我们的救主显明他的恩慈和怜爱的时候，他就救了我们，并不是由于我们所行的义，而是照着他的怜悯，藉着重生的洗和圣灵的更新。

神救了我们，以圣召呼召我们，不是按照我们的行为，却是按照他自己的计划和恩典；这恩典是在万世以前，在基督耶稣里赐给了我们的，

你们要知道我这样行，不是为了你们的缘故；以色列家啊！你们要因自己的行为抱愧蒙羞。这是主耶和华的宣告。

到了第四代，他们必回到这里，因为亚摩利人的罪孽还没有满盈。”

然而神满有怜悯，因着他爱我们的大爱，就在我们因过犯死了的时候，使我们与基督一同活过来，（你们得救是靠着恩典，）

使你与人不同的是谁呢？你有什么不是领受的呢？既然是领受的，为什么要自夸，好像不是领受的呢？

“因此，你要对以色列家说：‘主耶和华这样说：以色列家啊！我作这事，不是为了你们，而是为了我自己的圣名，就是在你们所去的列邦那里所亵渎的，

不错，他们因为不信而被折下来，你因着信才站立得住。只是不可心高气傲，倒要存畏惧的心。
