爾往屬以色列長老、而告之曰、爾祖之上帝亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之上帝耶和華、顯現於我、曰、我眷顧爾、爾於埃及所受、我無不鑒之。

作惡之家、善人識微、知其必亡。

昔耶和華誓以產乳與蜜之地、賜爾祖、其地即迦南人、赫人、亞摩哩人、希未人、耶布士人所屬者、既導爾入斯土、當於是月守此禮。

爾不以金鬻之菖蒲奉我、不以牲畜之脂膏供我、屢干罪戾、不可勝數、煩瀆乎我。我塗抹爾罪、不錄爾愆、以彰我榮。

昔我顯現於亞伯拉罕、以撒雅各、稱吾名為全能之上帝、未嘗稱吾名為耶和華。彼旅於迦南、我與之立約、錫斯土以為業、今埃及人使以色列族服役、而號呼、升聞於我、我念前約。爾告以色列族曰、我乃耶和華將拯爾於埃及人、釋爾負戴、罷爾役事、降災以譴爾敵、施能以贖爾身。我必以爾為民、我亦必為爾之上帝、使爾知我乃爾上帝耶和華、拯爾於埃及、釋爾負戴。我耶和華昔有誓、言錫地與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、今導爾入斯土、予爾為業。

毋濟祖惡、如祖悖逆、其心不正、其志不立、以事上帝兮。

又曰、我乃爾祖之上帝、即亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、摩西蒙其面、不敢覲上帝。

求爾憶念爾僕。亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列、昔爾指己而誓、必熾昌其後、如天星之眾多、錫以所言之地、俾為永業。

拿八秉性甚厲、人符其名、所行不端、我主勿以為意、昔我主所遣之少者、婢不及見。

毋痛疾我、彰爾仁慈、爾駐蹕之所、夙著榮光、勿以為辱、爾與我立約、請誌之勿忘、

摩西復覲耶和華、曰斯民以金鑄上帝、陷罪綦重、請爾恕之、不然、則我名錄於爾書者、爾其塗抹。

民曰、上帝與、孰克與爾頡頏、爾之遺民、蹈於罪愆、可蒙赦宥、爾以矜憫為悅、不恆怒余、必復施恩、助予克惡、以我罪愆、棄諸深淵、

耶和華又曰、所遺之民、我必赦宥、當是之時、以色列族、猶大家、所有罪戾、歸於烏有、雖求其疵、亦不可得、
