Keep in mind that the LORD your God has been disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.

Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.

Here is what I want you to know in your hearts. The Lord your God guides you, just as parents guide their children.

Know then in your heart that, as a man disciplines his son, the Lord your God disciplines you.

Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good.

So you are to know in your heart that the Lord your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.

You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.

And thou shalt consider in thy heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so Jehovah thy God chasteneth thee.

Keep in mind that the Lord your God has been disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.

Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son,[ so] the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.

Be keenly aware that just as a parent disciplines his child, the LORD your God disciplines you.

You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Yahweh your God disciplines you.

for the LORD disciplines the one he loves, just as a father disciplines the son in whom he delights.

I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will discipline him with a rod of men and blows from mortals.

As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be zealous and repent.

See how happy is the person whom God corrects; so do not reject the discipline of the Almighty.For he wounds but he also bandages; he strikes, but his hands also heal.

And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: My son, do not take the Lord’s discipline lightly or lose heart when you are reproved by him,for the Lord disciplines the one he loves and punishes every son he receives.Endure suffering as discipline: God is dealing with you as sons. He will certainly live because he thought it over and turned from all the transgressions he had committed; he will not die.

LORD, how happy is anyone you discipline and teach from your law

but when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined, so that we may not be condemned with the world.

then I will call their rebellion to account with the rod, their iniquity with blows.

“ Only be on your guard and diligently watch yourselves, so that you don’t forget the things your eyes have seen and so that they don’t slip from your mind as long as you live. Teach them to your children and your grandchildren.

“ Now you, son of man, get your bags ready for exile and go into exile in their sight during the day. You will go into exile from your place to another place while they watch; perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious house.

Be careful not to forget the covenant of the LORD your God that he made with you, and make an idol for yourselves in the shape of anything he has forbidden you.
