If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed.

Don’t forget the Lord your God. Don’t serve other gods. Don’t worship them and bow down to them. I am a witness against you today that if you do, you will certainly be destroyed.

And if you forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I solemnly warn you today that you shall surely perish.

“ But I assure you of this: If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods, worshiping and bowing down to them, you will certainly be destroyed.

If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods to serve them and bow in worship to them, I testify against you today that you will certainly perish.

And it shall come about, if you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods and serve and worship them, I testify against you today that you will certainly perish.

Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the Lord your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.

否則，今天我叫天地作證，你們必很快從約旦河對面將要佔領的土地上滅亡，你們必被徹底消滅，不得在那裡長久居住。

明知主人的意思卻不準備，也不遵行主人吩咐的僕人，必受更重的責打。但因不知道而做了該受懲罰之事的僕人，必少受責打。多給誰，就向誰多取；多託付誰，就向誰多要。

「我已消滅列國，摧毀他們的城樓，使他們的街道荒廢，沒有路人；他們的城邑淪為廢墟，杳無人跡，沒有居民。

不！我告訴你們，你們若不悔改，同樣也必滅亡。

毫無疑問，你們的上帝耶和華必不再為你們趕走他們。相反，他們還要成為設在你們當中的圈套和陷阱，你們的肉中刺、眼中釘，直到你們在你們的上帝耶和華所賜給你們的這塊美好的土地上滅亡。

「如果你們不謹遵這書上所寫的一切律法，不敬畏你們的上帝耶和華那榮耀、可畏的名，祂必使你們及子孫遭遇嚴重而長久的災難和疾病，使你們所懼怕的埃及人的疾病都降在你們身上，纏擾你們，還使一切未記在這律法書上的疾病和災難降在你們身上，直到消滅你們。如果你們不聽從你們的上帝耶和華的話，即使你們的人數多如天上的星，也將所剩無幾。正如耶和華喜歡賜福你們，使你們人丁興旺，祂也同樣會不惜消滅你們，使你們在將要佔領的土地上滅亡。「耶和華要把你們分散到天下萬邦，你們要在那裡供奉祖祖輩輩素不認識的木石神像。你們在萬邦中將不得安寧，沒有落腳之地，耶和華必使你們膽戰心驚、目光呆滯、精神頹廢。你們必惴惴不安，晝夜恐懼，生死難料。你們必看見可怕之事，以致心中充滿恐懼，早上盼望天黑，晚上盼望天亮。耶和華必沿著我曾說你們再不會走的路線，用船把你們送回埃及。你們將在那裡賣身做敵人的僕婢，卻無人買。」

即他統治的第一年，我但以理從經書上耶和華給耶利米先知的話得知，耶路撒冷必荒涼七十年。

不！我告訴你們，你們若不悔改，同樣也必滅亡。」

我今天警告你們，你們必定滅亡，在約旦河對岸——你們將要佔領的土地上無法長久。今天，我叫天地為你們作證，我已把生死禍福擺在你們面前。選擇生命吧，以便你們及子孫可以存活。

『世上萬族之中，我只揀選了你們，所以我要因你們的罪惡而懲罰你們。』」

必有人回答說，『因為這地方的人背棄了他們祖先的上帝耶和華領他們出埃及時與他們所立的約，去供奉、祭拜他們所不認識、並非耶和華所分派的神明。因此，耶和華向這片土地發怒，把這書上的一切咒詛都降在這裡。耶和華盛怒之下把他們從這地方連根拔起，扔到別的地方，正如今日的情形。』
