This is what you are to do to them: Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones, cut down their Asherah poles and burn their idols in the fire.

So here is what you must do to those people. Break down their altars. Smash their sacred stones. Cut down the poles they use to worship the female god named Asherah. Burn the statues of their gods in the fire.

But thus shall you deal with them: you shall break down their altars and dash in pieces their pillars and chop down their Asherim and burn their carved images with fire.

This is what you must do. You must break down their pagan altars and shatter their sacred pillars. Cut down their Asherah poles and burn their idols.

他把亚舍拉从耶和华殿里搬到耶路撒冷外的汲沦溪，在汲沦溪边焚烧，打碎成灰，把灰撒在平民的坟上。他又拆毁耶和华殿里男的庙妓的屋子，就是妇女在那里为亚舍拉编织衣服的屋子。他从犹大的城镇将众祭司带来，从迦巴直到别是巴，玷污祭司烧香的丘坛。他又拆毁城门旁的丘坛，这丘坛是在约书亚市长的城门前，在人进城门的左边。只是丘坛的祭司不登耶路撒冷耶和华的坛，仅在他们弟兄中间吃无酵饼。他又玷污欣嫩子谷的陀斐特，不许人在那里使儿女经火献给摩洛。他把在耶和华殿门旁、靠近拿单‧米勒官员走廊的屋子，犹大列王献给太阳的马废去，且用火焚烧献给太阳的战车。犹大列王在亚哈斯楼房顶上所筑的坛和玛拿西在耶和华殿两院中所筑的坛，王都拆毁，从那里移走，把灰倒在汲沦溪中。从前以色列王所罗门在耶路撒冷东边、邪僻山南边为西顿人可憎的亚斯她录、摩押人可憎的基抹、亚扪人可憎的米勒公所筑的丘坛，王都玷污了，又打碎柱像，砍下亚舍拉，用人的骨头填满那地方。

我把那使你们犯罪所铸的牛犊拿来，用火焚烧，捣碎后再磨成粉末，好像灰尘。我把这灰尘撒在从山上流下来的溪水中。

他将他们所铸的牛犊用火焚烧，磨得粉碎，撒在水面上，叫以色列人喝。

那夜，耶和华对基甸说：“你要把你父亲的公牛，就是那七岁的第二头公牛取来，并拆毁你父亲为巴力筑的坛，砍下坛旁的亚舍拉，在这堡垒顶上整整齐齐地为耶和华—你的神筑一座坛，将第二头公牛献为燔祭，用你所砍下的亚舍拉当柴。”

“你们不可为自己造虚无的神明，不可竖立雕刻的偶像或柱像，也不可在你们的地上安放石像，向它跪拜，因为我是耶和华—你们的神。

也不可为自己设立柱像，这是耶和华—你的神所憎恨的。”
