Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons,

论到这些国的人，耶和华曾吩咐以色列人说：“你们不可跟他们通婚，他们也不可跟你们在一起，因为他们一定会诱惑你们的心去随从他们的神明。”所罗门却为了爱，紧紧跟从他们。

你不可与那地的居民立约，因为他们随从自己的神明行淫；祭他们神明的时候，有人邀请你参加，你就会吃他的祭物。你为你儿子娶他们的女儿为妻，他们的女儿因着随从她们的神明行淫，就引诱你的儿子也随从她们的神明行淫。

那些日子，我又看见犹太人娶了亚实突、亚扪和摩押的女子为妻。他们的儿女，一半说亚实突话，或其他种族的方言，不会说犹大话。我就斥责他们，诅咒他们，打了他们几个人，拔下他们的胡须，叫他们指着神起誓：“你们不可把自己的女儿嫁给外邦人的儿子，也不可为自己和儿子娶他们的女儿。以色列王所罗门不也在这样的事上犯罪吗？在许多国家中并没有一位王像他，蒙他神喜爱，神立他作王治理全以色列。然而，连他也被外邦女子引诱犯罪。我们岂能听凭你们行这一切大恶，娶外邦女子干犯我们的神呢？”

这些事完成以后，众领袖来接近我，说：“以色列百姓、祭司和利未人没有弃绝迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亚扪人、摩押人、埃及人和亚摩利人等列邦民族所行可憎的事。因他们为自己和儿子娶了这些外邦女子，以致圣洁的种子和列邦民族混杂，而且领袖和官长在这事上是罪魁。”

你们若断然转离，紧紧跟随你们中间所剩下的这些国家，彼此结亲，互相往来，就要确实知道，耶和华—你们的神必不再将他们从你们面前赶出；他们却要成为你们的罗网、圈套、肋上的鞭、眼中的刺，直到你们在耶和华—你们神所赐的这美地上灭亡。

你们不要和不信的人同负一轭。义和不义有什么相关？光明和黑暗有什么相连？基督和彼列有什么相和？信主的和不信主的有什么相干？神的殿和偶像有什么相同？因为我们是永生神的殿，就如神曾说：“我要在他们中间居住来往；我要作他们的神，他们要作我的子民。”所以主说：“你们务要从他们中间出来，跟他们分别；不要沾不洁净的东西，我就收纳你们。

娶他们的女儿，将自己的女儿嫁给他们的儿子，并事奉他们的神明。以色列人行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，忘记耶和华—他们的神，去事奉诸巴力和亚舍拉，

神的儿子们看见人的女子美貌，就随意挑选，娶来为妻。耶和华说：“人既属乎血气，我的灵就不永远住在他里面；然而他的年岁还可到一百二十年。”
