When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations— the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you—

The Lord your God will bring you into the land. You are going to enter it and take it as your own. He’ll drive out many nations to make room for you. He’ll drive out the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. Those seven nations are larger and stronger than you are.

“ When the Lord your God brings you into the land that you are entering to take possession of it, and clears away many nations before you, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and mightier than you,

要將比你強大的列國從你面前趕出，領你進去，把他們的地賜你為業，像今日一樣。

「以色列啊，你要聽！你今日要過約旦河，進去佔領比你更強大的列國，那裏的城鎮又大，城牆又堅固，如天一樣高。

耶和華－你的上帝必在你面前過河，把這些國從你面前除滅，你就必得他們的地。約書亞要在你面前過河，是照耶和華所吩咐的。

「你出去與仇敵作戰，若看見馬匹、戰車，以及比你更多的士兵，不要怕他們，因為領你出埃及地的耶和華－你的上帝與你同在。

我要差遣使者在你前面，把迦南人、亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人趕出

在那日，耶和華與亞伯蘭立約，說：「我已賜給你的後裔這一片地，從埃及河直到大河，幼發拉底河，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人的地。」

他消滅了迦南地七族的人後，把那地分給他們為業，

你曾用手趕出外邦人，卻栽培了我們的列祖；你苦待萬民，卻叫我們的列祖發達。因為他們不是靠自己的刀劍承受土地，也不是靠自己的膀臂得勝，而是靠你的右手、你的膀臂，和你臉上的亮光，因為你喜愛他們。

「耶和華－你的上帝將他們從你面前趕出以後，你心裏不可說：『耶和華領我得這地是因我的義。』其實，耶和華將這些國家從你面前趕出去是因他們的惡。

「現在，以色列啊，聽我所教導你們的律例典章，要遵行，好使你們存活，得以進入耶和華－你們列祖之上帝所賜給你們的地，承受為業。我吩咐你們的話，你們不可加添，也不可刪減，好叫你們遵守耶和華－你們上帝的命令，就是我所吩咐你們的。你們已親眼看見耶和華因巴力‧毗珥所做的。凡隨從巴力‧毗珥的人，耶和華－你的上帝都從你中間除滅了。

你們的孩子，就是你們說要成為擄物的，我必領他們進去，他們就得知你們所厭棄的那地。

當耶和華－你的上帝領你進入要得為業的那地，你就要在基利心山上宣佈祝福，在以巴路山上宣佈詛咒。

可以從你面前趕出你所有的仇敵，正如耶和華所說的。

你大發威嚴，摧毀了你的敵人；你發出烈怒，吞滅他們如同碎稭。

他在他們面前趕出外邦人，用繩子抽籤量地給他們為業，讓以色列支派的人住在自己的帳棚裏。

我起誓應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地，我要領你們進去，將那地賜給你們為業。我是耶和華。』」

我要派瘟疫在你的前面，把希未人、迦南人、赫人從你面前趕出去。

因為我將他們領進我向他們列祖起誓應許那流奶與蜜之地，他們在那裏吃得飽足，長得肥胖，就偏向別神，事奉它們，藐視我，背棄我的約。

「耶和華－你的上帝必領你進他向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓要給你的地。那裏有又大又美的城鎮，不是你建造的；

他將我們從那裏領出來，為要領我們進入他向我們列祖起誓應許之地，把這地賜給我們。

「這是耶和華－你們的上帝所吩咐要教導你們的誡命、律例、典章，叫你們在所要過去得為業的地上遵行，
