When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations— the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you—

The Lord your God will bring you into the land. You are going to enter it and take it as your own. He’ll drive out many nations to make room for you. He’ll drive out the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. Those seven nations are larger and stronger than you are.

“ When the Lord your God brings you into the land that you are entering to take possession of it, and clears away many nations before you, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and mightier than you,

要將比你強大的國民從你面前趕出，領你進去，將他們的地賜你為業，像今日一樣。

「以色列啊，你當聽！你今日要過約旦河，進去趕出比你強大的國民，得着廣大堅固、高得頂天的城邑。

耶和華－你們的神必引導你們過去，將這些國民在你們面前滅絕，你們就得他們的地。約書亞必引導你們過去，正如耶和華所說的。

「你出去與仇敵爭戰的時候，看見馬匹、車輛，並有比你多的人民，不要怕他們，因為領你出埃及地的耶和華－你神與你同在。

我要差遣使者在你前面，攆出迦南人、亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，

當那日，耶和華與亞伯蘭立約，說：「我已賜給你的後裔，從埃及河直到幼發拉底大河之地，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。」

既滅了迦南地七族的人，就把那地分給他們為業；

你曾用手趕出外邦人，卻栽培了我們列祖；你苦待列邦，卻叫我們列祖發達。因為他們不是靠自己的刀劍得地土，也不是靠自己的膀臂得勝，乃是靠你的右手、你的膀臂，和你臉上的亮光，因為你喜悅他們。

「耶和華－你的神將這些國民從你面前攆出以後，你心裏不可說：『耶和華將我領進來得這地是因我的義。』其實，耶和華將他們從你面前趕出去是因他們的惡。

「以色列人哪，現在我所教訓你們的律例典章，你們要聽從遵行，好叫你們存活，得以進入耶和華－你們列祖之神所賜給你們的地，承受為業。所吩咐你們的話，你們不可加添，也不可刪減，好叫你們遵守我所吩咐的，就是耶和華－你們神的命令。耶和華因巴力‧毗珥的事所行的，你們親眼看見了。凡隨從巴力‧毗珥的人，耶和華－你們的神都從你們中間除滅了。

但你們的婦人孩子，就是你們所說、要被擄掠的，我必把他們領進去，他們就得知你們所厭棄的那地。

及至耶和華－你的神領你進入要去得為業的那地，你就要將祝福的話陳明在基利心山上，將咒詛的話陳明在以巴路山上。

照耶和華所說的，從你面前攆出你的一切仇敵。

你大發威嚴，推翻那些起來攻擊你的；你發出烈怒如火，燒滅他們像燒碎稭一樣。

他在他們面前趕出外邦人，用繩子將外邦的地量給他們為業，叫以色列支派的人住在他們的帳棚裏。

我起誓應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的那地，我要把你們領進去，將那地賜給你們為業。我是耶和華。』」

我要打發黃蜂飛在你前面，把希未人、迦南人、赫人攆出去。

因為我將他們領進我向他們列祖起誓應許那流奶與蜜之地，他們在那裏吃得飽足，身體肥胖，就必偏向別神，事奉他們，藐視我，背棄我的約。

「耶和華－你的神領你進他向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許給你的地。那裏有城邑，又大又美，非你所建造的；

將我們從那裏領出來，要領我們進入他向我們列祖起誓應許之地，把這地賜給我們。

「這是耶和華－你們神所吩咐教訓你們的誡命、律例、典章，使你們在所要過去得為業的地上遵行，
