Yahweh commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Yahweh our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are today.

The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.

The Lord our God commanded us to obey all his rules. He commanded us to honor him. If we do, we will always succeed and be kept alive. That’s what is happening today.

And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day.

For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law,“ The one who does them will live by them.”

What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.

But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth.

The result of humility and the fear of Yahweh is wealth, honor, and life.

But you who were faithful to Yahweh your God are all alive today.

Tell the righteous“ Good!” For they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.

If you are righteous, what do you give him? Or what does he receive from your hand?Your wickedness may hurt a man as you are, and your righteousness may profit a son of man.

If you are wise, you are wise for yourself. If you mock, you alone will bear it.

Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul,to keep Yahweh’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good?
