“日后，你的儿子问你说：‘耶和华—我们上帝吩咐你们的法度、律例、典章是什么意思呢？’

“日后，你的儿子问你说：‘耶和华—我们神吩咐你们的法度、律例、典章是什么意思呢？’

“日后，如果你的儿子问你：‘耶和华我们的神吩咐的这法度、律例和典章，有什么意思呢？’

「日後，你的兒子問你說：『耶和華－我們神吩咐你們的這些法度、律例、典章是甚麼意思呢？』

「日後，你的兒子問你說：『耶和華－我們上帝吩咐你們的法度、律例、典章是甚麼意思呢？』

「日後，你的兒子問你說：『耶和華－我們神吩咐你們的法度、律例、典章是甚麼意思呢？』

「將來你們的子孫會問，『我們的上帝耶和華給你們頒佈這些法度、律例和典章是什麼意思？』

“日後，如果你的兒子問你：‘耶和華我們的神吩咐的這法度、律例和典章，有甚麼意思呢？’

『日後你的兒子若問你說：「永恆主我們的上帝所吩咐你們的這些法令、律例、典章、是甚麼意思？」

厥後爾子若問爾曰、我上帝耶和華、以此法度典章律例諭爾、其意云何、

越至後日、倘爾子詰爾曰、我上帝耶和華所諭之誡命、法度禮儀、其意何居。

日後爾子若問爾日、主我之天主所諭爾此諸律法禮儀法度、其意云何、

In the future, when your son asks you,“ What is the meaning of the stipulations, decrees and laws the Lord our God has commanded you?”

Later on, your child might ask you,“ What is the meaning of the terms, rules and laws the Lord our God has commanded you to obey?”

“ When your son asks you in time to come,‘ What is the meaning of the testimonies and the statutes and the rules that the Lord our God has commanded you?’

“ In the future your children will ask you,‘ What is the meaning of these laws, decrees, and regulations that the Lord our God has commanded us to obey?’

“ When your son asks you in the future,‘ What is the meaning of the decrees, statutes, and ordinances that the LORD our God has commanded you?’

“ When your son asks you in time to come, saying,‘ What do the provisions and the statutes and the judgments mean which the Lord our God commanded you?’

“ When your son asks you in time to come, saying,‘ What is the meaning of the testimonies, the statutes, and the judgments which the Lord our God has commanded you?’

When thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which Jehovah our God hath commanded you?

“ When your son asks you in the future,‘ What is the meaning of the decrees, statutes, and ordinances, which the Lord our God has commanded you?’

[ And] when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What[ mean] the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?

When your children ask you later on,“ What are the stipulations, statutes, and ordinances that the LORD our God commanded you?”

When your son asks you in time to come, saying,“ What do the testimonies, the statutes, and the ordinances, which Yahweh our God has commanded you mean?”

将来你们的子孙问起这件事的意义，你们就回答，‘耶和华曾经用大能的手把我们从受奴役之地——埃及领出来。

你们的儿女问你们守这节期的意义时，

这些石头要在你们中间作记号。以后，倘若你们的子孙问你们，‘这些石头是什么意思？’你们就告诉他们，‘约旦河水在耶和华的约柜前曾经被截断，当约柜过河的时候，河水被截断了。这些石头要在以色列人当中作为永久的纪念。’”

并对以色列人说：“以后，你们的子孙问你们这堆石头是什么意思，你们就告诉他们，‘这是代表以色列人曾在干地上走过约旦河。’因为你们的上帝耶和华为了让你们过河而使约旦河成为干地，就像祂从前为了让我们过红海而使海成为干地一样。这是要让天下万民都知道耶和华有无比的能力，要让你们永远敬畏你们的上帝耶和华。”

并教导你们的儿女，无论在家在外，或起或卧，都要讲论这些律例和诫命。

教导孩童走正路，他到老也不偏离。
