惟爾侍立我側、我將以誡命典章律例示爾、以教斯民、使行於我所賜為業之地、

爾必侍立我側、我示爾以誡命、法度禮儀、爾普告於民、使於我所錫之地、遵行不失。

惟爾摩西侍立我側、我以諸誡命律例法度示爾、爾當教之、俾行於我所賜彼為業之地、

But you stay here with me so that I may give you all the commands, decrees and laws you are to teach them to follow in the land I am giving them to possess.”

这样说来，为什么要有律法呢？律法是为过犯的缘故而加上去的，等候那蒙应许的子孙来到才结束，是藉着天使经中保之手而设立的。

“你要爱耶和华—你的神，天天遵守他的吩咐、律例、典章、诫命。

“现在，以色列啊，听我所教导你们的律例典章，要遵行，好使你们存活，得以进入耶和华—你们列祖之神所赐给你们的地，承受为业。

摩西召集以色列众人，对他们说：“以色列啊，要听我今日在你们耳中所吩咐的律例典章，要学习，谨守遵行。

我将我的律例赐给他们，将我的典章指示他们；人若遵行就必因此存活。

这些法度、律例、典章是摩西在以色列人出埃及后对他们说的，

看，我照着耶和华—我的神所吩咐我的，将律例和典章教导你们，使你们在所要进去得为业的地上遵行。

“你们活在世上的日子，在耶和华—你列祖的神所赐你为业的地上，你们要谨守遵行这些律例典章：

“这是耶和华—你们的神所吩咐要教导你们的诫命、律例、典章，叫你们在所要过去得为业的地上遵行，

耶和华对摩西说：“你上山到我这里来，就在那里，我要将石版，就是我所写的律法和诫命赐给你，使你可以教导他们。”

“你们当记念我仆人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山为以色列众人所吩咐他的律例典章。
