耶和華啊！我真是你的僕人；我是你僕人，你婢女的兒子；我的鎖鍊你給我解開了。

追求公義、尋求耶和華的啊！你們要聽我的話。你們要瞻仰那磐石，你們就是從其上鑿出來的；你們要瞻仰那採石坑，你們就是從其中挖出來的。你們要瞻仰你們的祖宗亞伯拉罕，他們也要瞻仰那生你們的撒拉。亞伯拉罕獨自一人的時候，我呼召了他，賜福給他，使他有很多子孫。

他不再是敵對者，並且他面前的使者拯救了他們。他以自己的愛和憐憫救贖了他們；在古時的一切日子，他背負他們，懷抱他們。

你們應當記得，你們從前按肉體來說是外族人；那些所謂在肉體上受過人手所行的割禮的人，稱你們為未受割禮的。那時，你們是在基督以外，與以色列國無分，在帶有應許的約上是外人，在世上沒有盼望，沒有神。

有沒有一位神嘗試藉著試驗、神蹟、奇事、戰爭、大能的手和伸出來的膀臂，以及大而可畏的事，把一國的人民從別的國中領出來，像耶和華你們的神在埃及，在你們面前為你們所作的一切事呢？這是要顯明給你看，使你知道，只有耶和華是神；除了他以外，再沒有別的神。他從天上使你聽見他的聲音，為要教導你；又在地上使你看見他的大火，並且叫你聽到他從火中所說的話。因為他愛你的列祖，所以才揀選了他們的（按照《馬索拉文本》，“他們的”作“他的”﹔現參照其他抄本及古譯本翻譯）後裔，用大能親自把你從埃及領出來，

他為我們捨己，為的是要救贖我們脫離一切不法的事，並且潔淨我們作他自己的子民，熱心善工。

把我們從仇敵手中救拔出來，叫我們可以坦然無懼，用聖潔公義，在他面前一生一世敬拜他。
