The Lord our God is near us every time we pray to him. What other nation is great enough to have its gods that close to them?

凡求告耶和華的，就是誠心求告他的，耶和華便與他們相近。

世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢？你從埃及救贖他們作自己的子民，又在你贖出來的民面前行大而可畏的事，驅逐列邦人和他們的神，顯出你的大名。

耶和華靠近傷心的人，拯救靈性痛悔的人。

但我親近神是與我有益；我以主耶和華為我的避難所，好叫我述說你一切的作為。

他將他百姓的角高舉，因此他一切聖民以色列人，就是與他相近的百姓，都讚美他！你們要讚美耶和華！

神是我們的避難所，是我們的力量，是我們在患難中隨時的幫助。

你們親近神，神就必親近你們。有罪的人哪，要潔淨你們的手！心懷二意的人哪，要清潔你們的心！

當趁耶和華可尋找的時候尋找他，相近的時候求告他。

凡屬血氣的，曾有何人聽見永生神的聲音從火中出來，像我們聽見還能存活呢？

因我看你為寶為尊；又因我愛你，所以我使人代替你，使列邦人替換你的生命。

他未見雅各中有罪孽，也未見以色列中有奸惡。耶和華－他的神和他同在；有歡呼王的聲音在他們中間。

那時，你們與基督無關，在以色列國民以外，在所應許的諸約上是局外人，並且活在世上沒有指望，沒有神。你們從前遠離神的人，如今卻在基督耶穌裏，靠着他的血，已經得親近了。因他使我們和睦，將兩下合而為一，拆毀了中間隔斷的牆；而且以自己的身體廢掉冤仇，就是那記在律法上的規條，為要將兩下藉着自己造成一個新人，如此便成就了和睦。既在十字架上滅了冤仇，便藉這十字架使兩下歸為一體，與神和好了，並且來傳和平的福音給你們遠處的人，也給那近處的人。因為我們兩下藉着他被一個聖靈所感，得以進到父面前。這樣，你們不再作外人和客旅，是與聖徒同國，是神家裏的人了；並且被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，有基督耶穌自己為房角石，各房靠他聯絡得合式，漸漸成為主的聖殿。你們也靠他同被建造，成為神藉着聖靈居住的所在。

我從高峯看他，從小山望他；這是獨居的民，不列在萬民中。
