What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to him?

The Lord our God is near us every time we pray to him. What other nation is great enough to have its gods that close to them?

凡求告耶和华的，就是诚心求告他的，耶和华便与他们相近。

世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢？你从埃及救赎他们作自己的子民，又在你赎出来的民面前行大而可畏的事，驱逐列邦人和他们的神，显出你的大名。

耶和华靠近伤心的人，拯救灵性痛悔的人。

但我亲近神是与我有益；我以主耶和华为我的避难所，好叫我述说你一切的作为。

他将他百姓的角高举，因此他一切圣民以色列人，就是与他相近的百姓，都赞美他！你们要赞美耶和华！

神是我们的避难所，是我们的力量，是我们在患难中随时的帮助。

你们亲近神，神就必亲近你们。有罪的人哪，要洁净你们的手！心怀二意的人哪，要清洁你们的心！

当趁耶和华可寻找的时候寻找他，相近的时候求告他。

凡属血气的，曾有何人听见永生神的声音从火中出来，像我们听见还能存活呢？

因我看你为宝为尊；又因我爱你，所以我使人代替你，使列邦人替换你的生命。

他未见雅各中有罪孽，也未见以色列中有奸恶。耶和华他的神和他同在；有欢呼王的声音在他们中间。

那时，你们与基督无关，在以色列国民以外，在所应许的诸约上是局外人，并且活在世上没有指望，没有神。你们从前远离神的人，如今却在基督耶稣里，靠着他的血，已经得亲近了。因他使我们和睦，将两下合而为一，拆毁了中间隔断的墙；而且以自己的身体废掉冤仇，就是那记在律法上的规条，为要将两下藉着自己造成一个新人，如此便成就了和睦。既在十字架上灭了冤仇，便藉这十字架使两下归为一体，与神和好了，并且来传和平的福音给你们远处的人，也给那近处的人。因为我们两下藉着他被一个圣灵所感，得以进到父面前。这样，你们不再作外人和客旅，是与圣徒同国，是神家里的人了；并且被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，有基督耶稣自己为房角石，各房靠他联络得合式，渐渐成为主的圣殿。你们也靠他同被建造，成为神藉着圣灵居住的所在。

我从高峰看他，从小山望他；这是独居的民，不列在万民中。
