Because he loved your ancestors and chose their descendants after them, he brought you out of Egypt by his Presence and his great strength,

He loved your people of long ago. He chose their children after them. So he brought you out of Egypt. He used his great strength to do it.

And because he loved your fathers and chose their offspring after them and brought you out of Egypt with his own presence, by his great power,

Because he loved your ancestors, he chose to bless their descendants, and he personally brought you out of Egypt with a great display of power.

惟耶和華眷愛爾祖、特於天下億兆中、遴選其裔、以為己民、即以今日之事為證。

耶和華以大能導爾曹出埃及、故其法律、必述於爾口、錄於爾手、服於爾顙、誌之勿失。

摩西告民曰、是日耶和華以大能導爾出此地、脫汝於賤役、當誌弗忘、毋食酵餅。

厥後若爾子孫詰爾、行此曷故、爾宜告之、耶和華以大能導我出埃及、脫我於賤役、

耶和華曰、我必偕往、俾爾安居其所。

民憶古昔、摩西與其牧伯、為主所導、至自海濱、賦以聖神、今我主安在哉。誰展巨力、左右摩西、中判滄海、丕顯其名、永世弗替。

戮埃及初生之子、矜憫恆懷兮、導以色列族出境、矜憫恆懷兮、展巨能、施大力、矜憫恆懷兮、中判紅海、矜憫恆懷兮、導以色列族行於海際、矜憫恆懷兮、滅法老及其軍於紅海、矜憫恆懷兮、

維昔以色列族出自埃及、雅各全家、遠離異邦兮、當時猶大地、為其聖所、以色列族、為其畿輔兮、滄海因之而中判、約但因之而回流兮、山巒搖撼、有若牡羊羔羊、以踴以躍兮。滄海何為中判兮、約但何為回流兮、山巒何為搖撼、有若牡羊、有若羔羊、踴躍靡定兮、

耶和華青睞義人、俯聞其祈兮、

耶和華曰、我眷愛爾、爾曰、眷愛余躬、何以為徵、耶和華曰、以掃為雅各之兄、我愛雅各、

爾之得土、非為爾正心行義、乃為斯民行惡、爾之上帝耶和華、驅之於爾前、以踐其所誓爾祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之言。

敬虔之士、我將教爾、導爾於當由之途、我將顧爾、訓迪爾衷、

列祖其祖、基督其裔、此惟以身論基督耳、實則萬有之上、恆久可頌之上帝、

民遭患難、主懷憂戚、自天遣使、以拯其災、特加眷愛、以贖其身、自昔迄今、扶翼之者屢矣。

先知祈曰、願耶和華、勃然而興、展厥臂力、與昔無異、昔滅喇合、擊鱷魚、豈非爾乎、使滄海水涸、中判為途、以濟得拯之民者、豈非爾乎。蓋耶和華所救之人、必旋歸郇邑、永獲欣喜、懽忭無窮、謳歌靡已、既憂戚之全消、亦欷歔之永息。

昔爾之上帝耶和華、救爾於埃及、爾所目擊焉、豈有施大能巨力、異跡奇事、爭戰災害、事事可畏、以救他民、出於敵手乎。

耶和華遍覽天下、見誠心從之者、則力庇焉。爾弗以之是賴、不智孰甚、嗣後戰鬥、靡有已時。

耶和華曰、當斯之時、我為以色列族之上帝、彼為我民。

矜恤我祖、念其聖命、即與我祖亞伯拉罕所矢之誓、

爾較凡民、其數維寡、耶和華愛爾擇爾、非為爾曹眾多也、乃為疇昔發誓、許爾祖宗、亦為悅爾、故施其大能、導爾出埃及、拯爾於法老、脫爾於賤役、以踐其前言。汝必知爾之上帝耶和華誠為上帝、真實無妄、愛上帝守其誡者、必循前約、加以仁慈、垂至千百世、

昔我眷顧亞伯拉罕、簡其後裔、以色列族雅各家、為我臣僕。自地極天涯、召之以至、曰、我簡爾為僕、不汝遐棄。
