Because he loved your ancestors and chose their descendants after them, he brought you out of Egypt by his Presence and his great strength,

He loved your people of long ago. He chose their children after them. So he brought you out of Egypt. He used his great strength to do it.

And because he loved your fathers and chose their offspring after them and brought you out of Egypt with his own presence, by his great power,

Because he loved your ancestors, he chose to bless their descendants, and he personally brought you out of Egypt with a great display of power.

Then Moses said to the people,“ Commemorate this day, the day you came out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery, because the Lord brought you out of it with a mighty hand. Eat nothing containing yeast. (niv)

When Israel came out of Egypt, Jacob from a people of foreign tongue,Judah became God’s sanctuary, Israel his dominion.The sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back;the mountains leaped like rams, the hills like lambs.Why was it, sea, that you fled? Why, Jordan, did you turn back?Why, mountains, did you leap like rams, you hills, like lambs? (niv)

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry; (niv)

“ I have loved you,” says the Lord.“ But you ask,‘ How have you loved us?’“ Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the Lord.“ Yet I have loved Jacob, (niv)

It is not because of your righteousness or your integrity that you are going in to take possession of their land; but on account of the wickedness of these nations, the Lord your God will drive them out before you, to accomplish what he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. (niv)

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. (niv)

Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen. (niv)

you his servants, the descendants of Abraham, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations,the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: (niv)

In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old. (niv)

Awake, awake, arm of the Lord, clothe yourself with strength! Awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old. Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces, who pierced that monster through?Was it not you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep, who made a road in the depths of the sea so that the redeemed might cross over?Those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. (niv)

Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes? (niv)

For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.” (niv)

“ At that time,” declares the Lord,“ I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.” (niv)

to show mercy to our ancestors and to remember his holy covenant,the oath he swore to our father Abraham: (niv)

The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples.But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
