Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.

惟當強乃心、壯乃志、悉守我僕摩西命爾之律、而遵行之、勿偏於左、勿偏於右、俾爾無論何往、靡不亨通、

兄弟乎、我依常情而言、人之約既定、則無得增減之、

我誠語汝、天地未廢、律之一點一畫必不廢、迨皆成焉、

事之要義、尚其聽之、寅畏上帝、守其誡命、此乃人所當行、

何爾門徒犯古人遺傳、不盥手而食乎、曰爾何因爾遺傳、犯上帝誡乎、蓋上帝曰、敬爾父母、又曰、詈父母者、必死之、爾則曰、若人謂父母云、我所當奉於爾者、已獻於上帝矣、遂可不敬父母、是爾以爾遺傳廢上帝誡也、偽善者乎、以賽亞預言指爾者誠是也、曰斯民以口尊我、而心則遠我、其拜我徒然、以所教者、乃人所命耳、

法利賽人及士子數人、自耶路撒冷來、集就耶穌、見其徒有以俗手而食者、即未盥手也、蓋法利賽人、與猶太眾、執古人遺傳、不力盥其手、則不食、自市歸、不浴不食、其受而守之者、更有多端、若杯爵銅器亦洗之、乃問耶穌曰、爾門徒不依古人遺傳、以俗手而食、何也、耶穌曰、善夫、以賽亞指爾偽善者之預言也、如記云、斯民以口尊我、而心則遠我、其拜我徒然、以所教者、乃人所命耳、爾曹舍上帝誡、執人遺傳、又曰、誠哉、爾廢上帝誡、守爾遺傳也、蓋摩西曰、敬爾父母、又曰、詈父母者必死之、惟爾則曰、人若謂父母云、爾可由我得益者、乃咯［口板］、即謂已獻於上帝、則不再許其有所事於父母矣、是爾以所授遺傳、廢上帝道、爾之所為多類此、
