耶和華的靈必停留在他身上，就是智慧的靈和聰明的靈，謀略的靈和能力的靈，知識的靈和敬畏耶和華的靈。

因為但以理裡面有美好的靈性，所以各方面都比其他的監察司和總督優勝；王有意立他治理全國。

我就照著你所求的而行；賜給你一個智慧和明辨的心，在你以前沒有人像你，在你以後也不會有人像你。

一切智慧和知識的寶庫都蘊藏在基督裡面。

神所差來的那一位講神的話，因為神把聖靈無限地賜給他。

於是使徒為他們按手，他們就受了聖靈。西門看見使徒一按手，就有聖靈賜下來，就拿錢給他們，說：“請把這權柄也給我，叫我為誰按手，誰就可以受聖靈。”

叫他們站在使徒面前。使徒禱告後，就為他們按手。

他們回答約書亞，說：“你吩咐我們的一切，我們都必遵行；無論你差派我們到哪裡去，我們都一定去。我們從前怎樣凡事聽從摩西，現在也必照樣聽從你；唯願耶和華你的神與你同在，像與摩西同在一樣。無論誰違背你的話，不聽從你吩咐他的一切命令，那人必要處死。你只管堅強勇敢。”

那些耶利哥的先知門徒在遠處看見，就說：“以利亞的靈在以利沙身上了。”他們就來迎接他，俯伏在地拜他。

我要在那裡降臨，與你說話，也要把在你身上的靈，分給他們，他們就與你一同擔當管理人民的責任，免得你獨自擔當。

不要匆匆忙忙地替別人按手，也不要在別人的罪上有分，要保守自己清潔。

所以，求你賜給僕人一顆明辨的心，可以判斷你的子民，能辨別是非，因為誰能判斷你這眾多的子民呢？”

我也用神的靈充滿了他，使他有智慧，有聰明，有知識，有能力作各樣的手工，

耶和華對摩西說：“你要揀選嫩的兒子約書亞，他心裡有聖靈，你要按手在他頭上，叫他站在以利亞撒祭司和全體會眾面前，當他們的面委派他。你要把你的尊榮給他幾分，好叫以色列全體會眾都聽從他。他要站在以利亞撒祭司面前，以利亞撒要藉著烏陵的判斷，在耶和華面前為他求問；他和以色列眾人，就是全體會眾，都要按著以利亞撒的命令出入。”於是，摩西照著耶和華吩咐他的去行；他把約書亞領來，叫他站在以利亞撒祭司和全體會眾面前，按手在他頭上，委派他，是照著耶和華藉摩西吩咐的。

他們過去之後，以利亞對以利沙說：“在我沒有被接離開你以先，我可以為你作些甚麼，你儘管求吧！”以利沙說：“求你使你的靈雙倍地臨到我。”

不要忽略你所得的恩賜，就是眾長老按手時藉著預言賜給你的。
