Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

And there hath not arisen a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom Jehovah knew face to face,

No prophet has arisen again in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.

No prophet ever again arose in Israel like Moses, who knew the LORD face to face.

Since then, there has not arisen a prophet in Israel like Moses, whom Yahweh knew face to face,

The LORD would speak with Moses face to face, just as a man speaks with his friend, then Moses would return to the camp. His assistant, the young man Joshua son of Nun, would not leave the inside of the tent.

Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s household, as a testimony to what would be said in the future.But Christ was faithful as a Son over his household. And we are that household if we hold on to our confidence and the hope in which we boast.

Moses said: The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. You must listen to everything he tells you.And everyone who does not listen to that prophet will be completely cut off from the people.

he said:“ Listen to what I say: If there is a prophet among you from the LORD, I make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.Not so with my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my household.I speak with him directly, openly, and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LORD. So why were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

“ The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to him.This is what you requested from the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly when you said,‘ Let us not continue to hear the voice of the LORD our God or see this great fire any longer, so that we will not die!’Then the LORD said to me,‘ They have spoken well.I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.

“ This is the Moses who said to the Israelites: God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers.

The LORD spoke to you face to face from the fire on the mountain.At that time I was standing between the LORD and you to report the word of the LORD to you, because you were afraid of the fire and did not go up the mountain. And he said:
