Then Moses ascended from the deserts of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the summit of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. The LORD showed him the whole land– Gilead to Dan,

Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho. There the Lord showed him the whole land— from Gilead to Dan,

Moses climbed Mount Nebo. He went up from the plains of Moab to the highest slopes of Pisgah. It’s across from Jericho. At Pisgah the Lord showed him the whole land from Gilead all the way to Dan.

Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. And the Lord showed him all the land, Gilead as far as Dan,

Then Moses went up to Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab and climbed Pisgah Peak, which is across from Jericho. And the Lord showed him the whole land, from Gilead as far as Dan;

Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which faces Jericho, and the LORD showed him all the land: Gilead as far as Dan,

“ Go up to this Abarim hill country, to Mount Nebo( which is in the land of Moab opposite Jericho) and look at the land of Canaan that I am giving to the Israelites as a possession.

( The Danites failed to conquer their territory, so they went up and fought with Leshem and captured it. They put the sword to it, took possession of it, and lived in it. They renamed it Dan after their ancestor.)

Then the LORD said to Moses,“ Go up this mountain of the Abarim range, and see the land I have given to the Israelites.

They traveled from Almon-diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim before Nebo.

When Abram heard that his nephew had been taken captive, he mobilized his 318 trained men who had been born in his household, and he pursued the invaders as far as Dan.

So he took me away in the Spirit to a huge, majestic mountain and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.

You will see the land before you, but you will not enter the land that I am giving to the Israelites.”

Then the LORD said to him,“ This is the land I promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I said,‘ I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it, but you will not cross over there.”

They named it Dan after their ancestor, who was one of Israel’s sons. But the city’s name used to be Laish.

So Moses gave to the Gadites, the Reubenites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph the realm of King Sihon of the Amorites, and the realm of King Og of Bashan, the entire land with its cities and the territory surrounding them.The Gadites rebuilt Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer,Atroth Shophan, Jazer, Jogbehah,Beth Nimrah, and Beth Haran as fortified cities, and constructed pens for their flocks.The Reubenites rebuilt Heshbon, Elealeh, Kiriathaim,Nebo, Baal Meon( with a change of name), and Sibmah. They renamed the cities they built.The descendants of Machir son of Manasseh went to Gilead, took it, and dispossessed the Amorites who were in it.So Moses gave Gilead to Machir, son of Manasseh, and he lived there.

Go up to the top of Pisgah and take a good look to the west, north, south, and east, for you will not be allowed to cross the Jordan.

By means of divine visions he brought me to the land of Israel and placed me on a very high mountain, and on it was a structure like a city, to the south.

and from Bamoth to the valley that is in the country of Moab, near the top of Pisgah, which overlooks the wilderness.
