夫此摩西、即民所拒云、誰立爾為有司刑官者、乃上帝以棘叢中所見天使之手、遣之為有司為援救者矣、

耶和華之使者顯見於荊棘之火焰中、摩西視之、荊棘焚而不燬、曰、我必轉而觀此異象、荊棘何以不燬、耶和華上帝見摩西轉而觀之、則自荊棘中呼之曰、摩西、摩西、曰、我在此、

大地與充其間者、世界暨居其上者、悉屬耶和華兮、

論死者復起、爾未讀摩西書棘叢篇乎、上帝諭之曰、吾乃亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、

遂進之、約瑟一席、昆弟一席、共食之埃及人一席、緣埃及人與希伯來族同席、以為不屑、

在至上則榮歸上帝、在地則和平歸其所悅之人、○

諸天屬爾、地亦爾有、世與充其中者、為爾所立兮、

設有語爾者曰、此乃祭物、則勿食之、為語爾者、且為良心也、

敵馬噴氣、聞自但境、健馬嘶鳴、震動全地、彼眾已至、吞滅土壤、暨其所有、吞滅城邑、及厥居民、

爾速詣吾父、告曰、汝子約瑟言、上帝立我為埃及宰、請來此、毋稽留、爾與子孫牛羊、及凡所有、居於歌珊、密邇乎我、饑饉尚有五年、我於彼供養爾、庶免爾與眷聚、及所有者匱乏、

夫如是之大祭司、宜乎我儕、乃至聖無惡無污、遠乎罪人、高出諸天、

以實瑪利人乃米甸賈、適經其處、諸兄乃援約瑟出井、鬻之、獲金二十、以實瑪利人挈約瑟往埃及、○

我若飢、不告爾、世界與充其中者、咸屬我兮、

且以啟示莫大之故、恐我自高過甚、加刺於我身、即撒但之役擊我、免我自高過甚也、我為此求主者三、使之去我、主曰、吾恩於爾足矣、我之能於弱者而成全之、故我欣然、寧誇我弱、使基督之能庇我、我為基督、以荏弱、凌辱、空乏、窘逐、阨窮為喜、蓋我弱時則強焉、○

約瑟居其主埃及人家、耶和華偕之、所為暢遂、厥主見耶和華偕之、使其諸事亨通、

汝父所祝之嘏、愈於吾祖所祝之嘏、如岡陵之恆久、如山嶽之高大、悉歸約瑟之首、臨乎冠昆弟者之頂、

逾四十年、天使於西乃山之野、棘叢火焰中、見於摩西、摩西見而奇之、近而諦視、有主之聲曰、吾乃爾列祖之上帝、即亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、之上帝也、摩西戰慄而不敢視、主謂之曰、解爾履、蓋爾所立之處、聖地也、

蓋地與其所有、無不屬主、
