About Joseph he said:“ May the Lord bless his land with the precious dew from heaven above and with the deep waters that lie below;

Here’s what Moses said about Joseph.“ May the Lord bless Joseph’s land. May he bless it with dew from the highest heavens. May he bless it with water from the deepest oceans.

And of Joseph he said,“ Blessed by the Lord be his land, with the choicest gifts of heaven above, and of the deep that crouches beneath,

Moses said this about the tribes of Joseph:“ May their land be blessed by the Lord with the precious gift of dew from the heavens and water from beneath the earth;

He said about Joseph: May his land be blessed by the LORD with the dew of heaven’s bounty and the watery depths that lie beneath;

Of Joseph he said,“ Blessed of the Lord be his land, With the choice things of heaven, with the dew, And from the deep waters lying beneath,

約瑟是母牛的崽子，在水泉旁的母牛崽子；他的女兒踏步在書珥曠野。弓箭手苦害他，向他射箭，懷恨逼迫他。但他的弓仍然堅硬；他的手臂強健敏捷，這是因着雅各之大能者的手；（以色列的牧者、以色列的石頭是從那裏而出的，）因着你父親的上帝——他必幫助你，因着全能的上帝——他必賜福與你：必將上面來的天福，將伏於地底下的淵泉之福，將胸哺胎生之福、都賜給你。你父親所祝的福大有能力，勝過遠古之山，所施的福、和永遠之岡陵可愛之物：願這些福降到約瑟頭上，到那在弟兄中做王子者的頭頂上。

雅各餘剩之民必在許多外族之民間像露水從永恆主那裏降下，像甘霖降在草上；不仰仗着人力，不等候着人類之助。

因他的知識、深淵就裂開，雲霄也滴下露水。

他就給約瑟祝福說：『願我祖亞伯拉罕我父以撒所奔走伺候的上帝，願自從有了我以來就牧養着我到今日的那上帝，願那贖救了我脫離一切禍患的那天使賜福與這兩個兒童；願他們稱為在我名下、也在我祖亞伯拉罕我父以撒名下的；願他們在全地中生養眾多。』約瑟見他父親把右手按在以法蓮頭上，他看得不對，便抓住他父親的手，要從以法蓮頭上給挪到瑪拿西頭上。約瑟對他父親說：『不是這樣，阿爸；這個才是長子；請把你的右手按在他頭上。』他父親不肯，說：『我知道，我兒，我知道；他也必成為一個民族；而且也必昌大。雖然如此，他的小弟弟卻要比他還昌大；他的後裔必成為許多國家。』那一天雅各就給他們祝福說：『以色列人必用你的名而彼此祝福請安說：「願上帝使你像以法蓮、瑪拿西一樣。」』——他立了以法蓮在瑪拿西上面。

因為永恆主這樣對我說：『我在我堅立的居所要鎮靜地觀看，像日光上熀眼的熱氣，像炎熱的收割天成雲的夜霧。』

如今看來，我未到埃及來找你以前、你在埃及地所生的那兩個兒子、就是我的：以法蓮和瑪拿西是我的，正像如便和西緬是我的一樣。

我的根延展到水邊，有甘露終夜霑我枝條；

願上帝賜給你天上的甘露，地上的肥土，以及許多五穀和新酒。願許多族之民服事你，願許多國之民向你下拜，願你做你弟兄的主，你母親的兒子向你下拜；凡咒詛你的、願他受咒詛；給你祝福的，願他受祝福。』

當你的軍隊出戰的日子，你的眾民都甘心樂意地在聖山上服役；從晨曦初現時你就有了你那青春的朝氣。

約瑟對他父親說：『他們是我的兒子，上帝在這裏賜給我的。』以色列說：『請領到我跟前；我要給他們祝福。』

我對以色列必如甘露；他必開花像百合，扎根像楊樹。

願我的「心得」滴瀝如雨水，願我說的話溜落像甘露，如同細雨在嫩草上，如同甘霖在菜蔬中。

王的震怒像少壯獅子的咆哮；他的恩悅乃如草上的甘露。

因為必有平安興隆之撒種；葡萄樹必結果子，地必生出土產，天必降下雨露；我必使這餘剩的人民擁有這一切之福。
