猶大人來到吉甲，約書亞那裏，基尼洗族耶孚尼的兒子迦勒對約書亞說：「耶和華在加低斯‧巴尼亞指着我和你對神人摩西所說的話，你都知道。

耶穌領他們出來，直到伯大尼附近，就舉手給他們祝福。正祝福的時候，他離開他們，被帶到天上去了。

照我所愛的做成美味，拿來給我吃，好讓我在未死之前為你祝福。」

王對神人說：「請你為我禱告，向耶和華－你的神懇求恩惠，使我的手復原。」於是神人向耶和華懇求，王的手就復原了，如平常一樣。

主啊，你世世代代作我們的居所。

叫屬神的人得以完全，預備行各樣的善事。

因為預言從來沒有出於人意的，而是人被聖靈感動說出神的話來。

他就近前親吻父親。他父親一聞他衣服上的香氣，就為他祝福，說：「看，我兒的香氣好像耶和華賜福之田地的香氣。願神賜你天上的甘露，地上的肥土，和豐富的五穀新酒。願萬民事奉你，萬族向你下拜。願你作你弟兄的主，你母親的兒子向你下拜。詛咒你的，願他受詛咒；祝福你的，願他蒙祝福。」

那婦人來對丈夫說：「有一個神人到我這裏來，他的容貌如神使者的容貌，非常可畏。我沒有問他從哪裏來，他也沒有把他的名字告訴我。
