我回想从前的日子，那久远的岁月，想起自己夜间所唱的歌。我沉思默想，扪心自问：

“你们可以查考历史，自上帝创造世人以来，这样的奇事，天地之间何曾有过？谁曾听闻？

后来，他们想起古时候，想起了摩西和他的百姓，便问，带领百姓及其牧者摩西从海里出来的那位在哪里？将自己的圣灵降在他们中间的那位在哪里？

你们要记住古时发生的事，因为我是独一无二的上帝，再没有谁能与我相比。

耶和华啊，我牢记你古时赐下的法令，你的法令是我的安慰。

耶和华啊，我要回想你的作为，回想你从前所行的奇事。我要默想你所行的一切事，思想你一切大能的作为。

难道祂的慈爱永远消逝了吗？祂的应许永远落空了吗？

他们自以为可以屹立不倒，世世代代永不遭殃。
