昔在汛野、米利巴迦鐵之處爾曹逆我、不於以色列族前尊我、

因昔在汛野、在迦叠米利巴水、爾曹在以色列人中違逆我、不在其中尊我為聖故、

This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites.

You and Aaron disobeyed me in front of the Israelites. It happened at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin. You did not honor me among the Israelites as the holy God.

because you broke faith with me in the midst of the people of Israel at the waters of Meribah-kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, and because you did not treat me as holy in the midst of the people of Israel.

For both of you betrayed me with the Israelites at the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. You failed to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel there.

For both of you broke faith with me among the Israelites at the Waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat me as holy in their presence.

because you broke faith with Me in the midst of the sons of Israel at the waters of Meribah kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, because you did not treat Me as holy in the midst of the sons of Israel.

because you trespassed against Me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin, because you did not hallow Me in the midst of the children of Israel.

because ye trespassed against me in the midst of the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

For both of you broke faith with Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat Me as holy in their presence.

Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

for both of you rebelled against me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the desert of Zin when you did not show me proper respect among the Israelites.

because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you didn’t uphold my holiness among the children of Israel.

因為你們在尋的曠野，當會眾爭鬧的時候，違背了我的命令，在取水之事上沒有在會眾眼前尊我為聖。」這水就是尋的曠野中，加低斯的米利巴水。

摩西舉起手來，用杖擊打磐石兩下，就有許多水流出來，會眾和他們的牲畜都喝了。但是耶和華對摩西、亞倫說：「因為你們不信我，沒有在以色列人眼前尊我為聖，所以你們必不能領這會眾進入我所要賜給他們的地去。」這就是米利巴水，因以色列人與耶和華爭鬧，耶和華在他們面前顯為聖。摩西從加低斯差遣使者到以東王那裏，說：「你的弟兄以色列這樣說：『你知道我們所遭遇的一切困難。

於是，摩西對亞倫說：「這就是耶和華所吩咐的，說：『我在那親近我的人中要顯為聖；在全體百姓面前，我要得着榮耀。』」亞倫就默默不言。

因為時候到了，審判要從神的家開始；若是先從我們開始，那麼，不信從神福音的人將有何等的結局呢？

「那時，我懇求耶和華說：『主耶和華啊，你已開始將你的偉大和你大能的手顯給你僕人看。在天上，在地下，有甚麼神明能像你行事，像你有大能的作為呢？求你讓我過去，看約旦河另一邊的美地，就是那佳美的山區和黎巴嫩。』但耶和華因你們的緣故向我發怒，不應允我。耶和華對我說：『你夠了吧！不要再向我提這事。你上毗斯迦山頂去，向東、西、南、北舉目，用你的眼睛觀看，因為你必不能過這約旦河。

「亞倫要歸到他祖先那裏。他必不得進入我所賜給以色列人的地，因為你們在米利巴水的事上違背了我的指示。

他就對從猶大來的神人宣告說：「耶和華如此說：『你既違背耶和華的指示，不遵守耶和華－你神的命令，反倒回來，在耶和華禁止你吃飯喝水的地方吃了飯喝了水，因此你的屍體必不得葬在你祖先的墳墓裏。』」神人吃喝完了，老先知為他帶回來的先知備驢。神人就去了，在路上有隻獅子遇見他，把他咬死。他的屍體倒在路上，驢站在屍體旁邊，獅子也站在屍體旁邊。看哪，有人經過，看見屍體倒在路上，獅子站在屍體旁邊，就來到老先知所住的城裏述說這事。那帶神人回來的先知聽見了，就說：「這是那違背了耶和華指示的神人，所以耶和華把他交給獅子；獅子撕裂他，咬死他，正如耶和華對他說的話。」

但要尊萬軍之耶和華為聖，他才是你們所當怕的，所當畏懼的。
