for both of you rebelled against me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the desert of Zin when you did not show me proper respect among the Israelites.

因為在荀曠野，在加低斯的米利巴泉旁，你和亞倫對我不忠，沒有在以色列人中尊我為聖。

因為你們在尋的曠野、在加低斯、米利巴水的事上、在以色列人中間你們對我不忠實，在以色列人中間你們沒有尊我為聖。

昔在尋野、加低斯米利巴水、爾曹不於以色列人中、尊我為聖、干罪於我、

昔在汛野、米利巴迦鐵之處爾曹逆我、不於以色列族前尊我、

因昔在汛野、在迦叠米利巴水、爾曹在以色列人中違逆我、不在其中尊我為聖故、

This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites.

You and Aaron disobeyed me in front of the Israelites. It happened at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin. You did not honor me among the Israelites as the holy God.

because you broke faith with me in the midst of the people of Israel at the waters of Meribah-kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, and because you did not treat me as holy in the midst of the people of Israel.

For both of you betrayed me with the Israelites at the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. You failed to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel there.

For both of you broke faith with me among the Israelites at the Waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat me as holy in their presence.

because you broke faith with Me in the midst of the sons of Israel at the waters of Meribah kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, because you did not treat Me as holy in the midst of the sons of Israel.

because you trespassed against Me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin, because you did not hallow Me in the midst of the children of Israel.

because ye trespassed against me in the midst of the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

For both of you broke faith with Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat Me as holy in their presence.

Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you didn’t uphold my holiness among the children of Israel.

For in the wilderness of Zin when the community rebelled against me, you rebelled against my command to show me as holy before their eyes over the water– the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.”

Then Moses raised his hand, and struck the rock twice with his staff. And water came out abundantly. So the community drank, and their beasts drank too.Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you did not trust me enough to show me as holy before the Israelites, therefore you will not bring this community into the land I have given them.”These are the waters of Meribah, because the Israelites contended with the LORD, and his holiness was maintained among them.Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom:“ Thus says your brother Israel:‘ You know all the hardships we have experienced,

Moses then said to Aaron,“ This is what the LORD spoke:‘ Among the ones close to me I will show myself holy, and in the presence of all the people I will be honored.’” So Aaron kept silent.

For it is time for judgment to begin, starting with the house of God. And if it starts with us, what will be the fate of those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?

Moreover, at that time I pleaded with the LORD,“ O, Lord GOD, you have begun to show me your greatness and strength.( What god in heaven or earth can rival your works and mighty deeds?)Let me please cross over to see the good land on the other side of the Jordan River– this good hill country and the Lebanon!”But the LORD was angry at me because of you and would not listen to me. Instead, he said to me,“ Enough of that! Do not speak to me anymore about this matter.Go up to the top of Pisgah and take a good look to the west, north, south, and east, for you will not be allowed to cross the Jordan.

“ Aaron will be gathered to his ancestors, for he will not enter into the land I have given to the Israelites because both of you rebelled against my word at the waters of Meribah.

and he cried out to the prophet from Judah,“ This is what the LORD says,‘ You have rebelled against the LORD and have not obeyed the command the LORD your God gave you.You went back and ate and drank in this place, even though he said to you,“ Do not eat or drink there.” Therefore your corpse will not be buried in your ancestral tomb.’”When the prophet from Judah finished his meal, the old prophet saddled his visitor’s donkey for him.As the prophet from Judah was traveling, a lion attacked him on the road and killed him. His corpse was lying on the road, and the donkey and the lion just stood there beside it.Some men came by and saw the corpse lying in the road with the lion standing beside it. They went and reported what they had seen in the city where the old prophet lived.When the old prophet who had invited him to his house heard the news, he said,“ It is the prophet who rebelled against the LORD. The LORD delivered him over to the lion and it ripped him up and killed him, just as the LORD warned him.”

You must recognize the authority of the LORD who commands armies. He is the one you must respect; he is the one you must fear.
