此事於爾、所關非淺、乃爾之生命、由此得以延年、於渡約但而得之地、○

此非淺鮮、乃爾生命所關、因是爾可於約但西所據之地、而享遐齡。

此事非虛、非不關爾者、乃爾之生命、爾將渡約但以得地為業、亦可緣此久居於彼、○

They are not just idle words for you— they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

They aren’t just useless words for you. They are your very life. If you obey them, you will live in the land for a long time. It’s the land you are going across the Jordan River to take as your own.”

For it is no empty word for you, but your very life, and by this word you shall live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess.”

These instructions are not empty words— they are your life! By obeying them you will enjoy a long life in the land you will occupy when you cross the Jordan River.”

For we did not follow cleverly contrived myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; instead, we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

Keep My statutes and ordinances; a person will live if he does them. I am Yahweh.

His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.

Choose life so that you and your descendants may live,love the Lord your God, obey Him, and remain faithful to Him. For He is your life, and He will prolong your life in the land the Lord swore to give to your fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

For the one who wants to love life and to see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,and he must turn away from evil and do what is good. He must seek peace and pursue it,because the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are open to their request. But the face of the Lord is against those who do what is evil.

She is a tree of life to those who embrace her, and those who hold on to her are happy.

But godliness with contentment is a great gain.For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out.But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these.

for the training of the body has a limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.

My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commands;for they will bring you many days, a full life, and well-being.

For Moses writes about the righteousness that is from the law: The one who does these things will live by them.But the righteousness that comes from faith speaks like this: Do not say in your heart,“ Who will go up to heaven?” that is, to bring Christ down

I have not spoken in secret, somewhere in a land of darkness. I did not say to the descendants of Jacob: Seek Me in a wasteland. I, Yahweh, speak truthfully; I say what is right.
