此事於爾、所關非淺、乃爾之生命、由此得以延年、於渡約但而得之地、○

此非淺鮮、乃爾生命所關、因是爾可於約但西所據之地、而享遐齡。

此事非虛、非不關爾者、乃爾之生命、爾將渡約但以得地為業、亦可緣此久居於彼、○

They are not just idle words for you— they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

They aren’t just useless words for you. They are your very life. If you obey them, you will live in the land for a long time. It’s the land you are going across the Jordan River to take as your own.”

For it is no empty word for you, but your very life, and by this word you shall live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess.”

These instructions are not empty words— they are your life! By obeying them you will enjoy a long life in the land you will occupy when you cross the Jordan River.”

For they are not meaningless words to you but they are your life, and by them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

For it is not a trivial matter for you; indeed it is your life. And by this word you will prolong your days in the land, which you are about to cross the Jordan to possess.”

For it is not a futile thing for you, because it is your life, and by this word you shall prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to possess.”

For it is no vain thing for you; because it is your life, and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over the Jordan to possess it.

因為得著它們就是得著生命，整個人也得著醫治。

我們從前把我們主耶穌基督的大能和降臨的事告訴你們，並不是隨從巧妙捏造傳奇的故事，我們卻是親眼看見過他威榮的人。

所以你們要謹守我的律例和典章；人應該遵行這些，按照它們生活，我是耶和華。

這樣，它們就必作你的生命，作你頸上的華飾。

神以他神聖的能力，因著我們確實認識那位用自己的榮耀和美善呼召我們的，把一切有關生命和敬虔的事，都賜給了我們。

那些洗淨自己袍子的人是有福的！他們可以有權到生命樹那裡，也可以從門進到城裡。

我今日呼天喚地向你們作證，我把生與死，福與禍，都擺在你面前了；所以你要選擇生命，好讓你和你的後裔都可以活著，愛耶和華你的神，聽從他的話，緊靠他，因為那就是你的生命，你的長壽；這樣，你才能在耶和華向你的列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許要賜給他們的地上居住。”

因為“凡希望享受人生，要看見好日子的，就要禁止舌頭不出惡言，嘴唇不說詭詐的話；也要離惡行善，尋找並追求和睦。因為主的眼睛看顧義人，他的耳朵垂聽他們的呼求；但主的臉敵對作惡的人。”

對緊握智慧的人來說，智慧是生命樹，凡是緊抓智慧的，都是有福的。

其實敬虔而又知足，就是得大利的途徑，因為我們沒有帶甚麼到世上來，也不能帶甚麼去。只要有衣有食，就應當知足。

因為操練身體，益處還少；唯獨操練敬虔，凡事有益，享有今生和來世的應許。

你們要先求他的國和他的義，這一切都必加給你們。

我兒，不可忘記我的訓誨，你的心要謹守我的誡命；因為它們必把長久的日子、生命的歲數和平安，加給你。

論到出於律法的義，摩西寫著說：“遵行這些事的人就必因這些事而活。”但那出於信心的義卻這樣說：“你心裡不要說：‘誰要升到天上去呢？’（就是要把基督領下來，）

我沒有在隱密處、在黑暗之地說過話；我沒有對雅各的後裔說過：‘你們尋求我是徒然的。’我耶和華講說公義，宣揚正直。
