倘礪閃爍之刃、施行審鞫、敵我者、我必罰之、憾我者、我必報之、

我刃閃爍、我磨礪之、我秉公義、凡逆我者罰之、憾我者報之、

我磨礪我刀利刃閃爍、我秉公義於我手中、必報復我敵、施報憾我之人、

when I sharpen my flashing sword and my hand grasps it in judgment, I will take vengeance on my adversaries and repay those who hate me.

And you can be just as sure that I will sharpen my flashing sword. My hand will hold it when I judge. I will get even with my enemies. I will pay back those who hate me.

They are given over to the sword with My people. Therefore strike your thigh in grief.Surely it will be a trial! And what if the sword despises even the scepter? The scepter will not continue. As it is written in Isaiah the prophet: Look, I am sending My messenger ahead of You, who will prepare Your way.

Summon the archers to Babylon, all who string the bow; camp all around her; let none escape. Repay her according to her deeds; just as she has done, do the same to her, for she has acted arrogantly against the Lord, against the Holy One of Israel.

You Cushites will also be slain by My sword.
