蓋耶和華必代其民而伸冤、為其臣而回志、鑒觀於下、知民力已廢、或主或僕、靡有孑遺。

The Lord will vindicate his people and relent concerning his servants when he sees their strength is gone and no one is left, slave or free.

The Lord will come to the aid of his people. He’ll show tender love to those who serve him. He will know when their strength is gone. He’ll see that no one at all is left.

耶和华要为他的百姓伸冤，为他的仆人后悔。

为他们记念他的约，照他丰盛的慈爱后悔。

耶和华为他们兴起士师，就与那士师同在。士师在世的一切日子，耶和华拯救他们脱离仇敌的手。他们因受欺压扰害，就哀声叹气，所以耶和华后悔了。

因为耶和华看见以色列人甚是艰苦，无论困住的、自由的都没有了，也无人帮助以色列人。

耶和华说：‘我必使灾祸临到你，将你除尽。凡属你的男丁，无论困住的、自由的，都从以色列中剪除。

“我所陈明在你面前的这一切咒诅都临到你身上；你在耶和华你神追赶你到的万国中必心里追念祝福的话；你和你的子孙若尽心尽性归向耶和华你的神，照着我今日一切所吩咐的听从他的话；那时，耶和华你的神必怜恤你，救回你这被掳的子民；耶和华你的神要回转过来，从分散你到的万民中将你招聚回来。

亚哈全家必都灭亡，凡属亚哈的男丁，无论是困住的、自由的，我必从以色列中剪除，

因此，我必使灾祸临到耶罗波安的家，将属耶罗波安的男丁，无论困住的、自由的都从以色列中剪除，必除尽耶罗波安的家，如人除尽粪土一般。

耶和华说：“以法莲是我的爱子吗？是可喜悦的孩子吗？我每逢责备他，仍深顾念他；所以我的心肠恋慕他；我必要怜悯他。

以色列人对耶和华说：“我们犯罪了，任凭你随意待我们吧！只求你今日拯救我们。”以色列人就除掉他们中间的外邦神，侍奉耶和华。耶和华因以色列人受的苦难，就心中担忧。

因为他来了，他来要审判全地。他要按公义审判世界，按他的信实审判万民。

耶和华就后悔说：“这灾可以免了。”

或者他转意后悔，留下余福，就是留下献给耶和华你们神的素祭和奠祭，也未可知。

因为我们知道谁说：“伸冤在我，我必报应”；又说：“主要审判他的百姓。”

耶和华啊，我们要等到几时呢？求你转回，为你的仆人后悔。

耶和华就后悔说：“这灾也可免了。”

耶和华向众民施行审判；耶和华啊，求你按我的公义和我心中的纯正判断我。
