要等待伸冤報應的日子，等待他們的腳顛躓的時候麼？因為他們遭遇災難的日子近了，那準備要臨到他們身上的就要迅速地來臨。

伸冤在我、其足躓時、我必報之、禍日伊邇、災難速臨、

伸冤在我、我必報之、斯時也、其足傾跌、禍及其身、所定速至。

懲罰在我我必報復、其足躓蹶必有其時、彼之受禍其日伊邇、當受之報速臨其身、

It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.”

I punish people. I will pay them back. The time will come when their feet will slip. Their day of trouble is near. Very soon they will be destroyed.”

Vengeance is mine, and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and their doom comes swiftly.’

因為我們認識曾說過「報應在我，我將回報」的那一位，他又說過「主要審判自己的子民。」

他們因著貪心，會用捏造的話利用你們。對他們的懲罰，從太古的時候就沒有失效，他們的滅亡也不耽延。

各位蒙愛的人哪，不要自己報復，寧可給神的震怒留地步，因為經上記著：「主說：報應在我，我將回報。」

直到我進了神的聖所，才明白他們的結局：你確實把他們放在易滑之地，使他們仆倒滅亡。他們怎麼在一瞬間就成了廢墟呢？他們被恐怖的事徹底掃除！

可是，各位蒙愛的人哪，你們不可忽略這一點：在主看來，一日如千年，千年如一日。主沒有像有些人認為的那樣，拖延所應許的；相反，他對你們恆久忍耐，不願任何人滅亡，而願所有人都來悔改。不過，主的日子要來臨，就像賊來臨那樣。在那日，諸天要轟然一聲地消逝，天體將被火焚燒而廢除，地和地上的作為也都將被暴露出來。

他們說：「讓以色列的聖者加快吧，加速他的工作吧，好讓我們看看！讓他所計劃的臨近吧，到來吧，好讓我們知道！」

許多人將在石頭上絆跌、仆倒、破碎，陷入圈套被纏住。」

因此，以色列的聖者如此說：「因為你們厭棄了這話，依靠欺壓和邪僻，以它們為依賴；所以這罪孽對你們就像高牆上的破口，牆體凸出，快要倒塌——頃刻之間，崩毀就突然臨到；

難道神絕不會給那些他所揀選、日夜向他呼求的人主持公道嗎？難道神會耽誤幫助他們嗎？我告訴你們：他會很快地給他們主持公道。不過人子回來的時候，難道在地上能找到這樣的信仰嗎？」

至小的必成為族群，至弱的必成為強國。時候一到，我耶和華必速速成就這事。

並且是「一塊絆腳的石頭，使人絆倒的磐石。」他們絆倒是因為不肯信從這話語，而這也是被預定的。

耶和華啊，你是施行報應的神！施行報應的神哪，求你發出光芒！

要知道，他是神的僕役，對你是有益處的。但你如果作惡，就該懼怕，因為他不是毫無理由的佩帶刀劍。他是神的僕役，是報應者，使震怒臨到作惡的人。

惡人的道路卻如幽暗黑夜，他們不知道被什麼絆倒。
