懲罰在我我必報復、其足躓蹶必有其時、彼之受禍其日伊邇、當受之報速臨其身、

It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.”

I punish people. I will pay them back. The time will come when their feet will slip. Their day of trouble is near. Very soon they will be destroyed.”

Vengeance is mine, and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and their doom comes swiftly.’

In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. (niv)

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written:“ It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. (niv)

The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The Lord takes vengeance on his foes and vents his wrath against his enemies. (niv)

till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny.Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin.How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors! (niv)

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. (niv)

Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him. (niv)

to those who say,“ Let God hurry; let him hasten his work so we may see it. The plan of the Holy One of Israel— let it approach, let it come into view, so we may know it.” (niv)

Give glory to the Lord your God before he brings the darkness, before your feet stumble on the darkening hills. You hope for light, but he will turn it to utter darkness and change it to deep gloom. (niv)

I am about to pour out my wrath on you and spend my anger against you. I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices.I will not look on you with pity; I will not spare you. I will repay you for your conduct and for the detestable practices among you.“‘ Then you will know that it is I the Lord who strikes you. (niv)

Many of them will stumble; they will fall and be broken, they will be snared and captured.” (niv)

Therefore this is what the Holy One of Israel says:“ Because you have rejected this message, relied on oppression and depended on deceit,this sin will become for you like a high wall, cracked and bulging, that collapses suddenly, in an instant. (niv)

For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. (niv)

Rejoice, you nations, with his people, for he will avenge the blood of his servants; he will take vengeance on his enemies and make atonement for his land and people. (niv)

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (niv)

“ Therefore their path will become slippery; they will be banished to darkness and there they will fall. I will bring disaster on them in the year they are punished,” declares the Lord. (niv)

The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly.” (niv)

and,“ A stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the message— which is also what they were destined for. (niv)

The Lord is a God who avenges. O God who avenges, shine forth. (niv)

For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. (niv)

Therefore this is what the Lord says:“ I will put obstacles before this people. Parents and children alike will stumble over them; neighbors and friends will perish.” (niv)

But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble. (niv)
